Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, linens clean.Hotel checking was easy. Management and staff friendly. Bar and grill on site with great food and service. Free breakfast was adequate. Cleanliness of lobby and halls were very good. Lobby was large and spacious, decorated nicely. While traveling alone I felt very safe. The hotel was very quiet even though parking lot was quite full.
This hotel is so-so. It’s in need of some TLC in some areas. We stayed in room 312 and the room was huge and clean and didn’t find any issues. The location of the room was by the main road and could hear outside traffic and noise. The beds were comfortable. The fridge froze all of our stuff over one night so take a peek at the temperature setting. All of the ice machines were down except on floor 4. The pool was basic but clean. Not a ton of seating in there. There is a continental breakfast. Again, nothing special but enough to fill you up. A lot of construction workers stay here. ||I stopped in when we arrived into town just to see if we were able to check in early. Stopped in about 12:45 and check in was at 3. The gal working the front counter didn’t even bother to ask my name or check on it. She just said there is no way we could check in before 3. But then a couple other families called in and were told that yes, they would be able to check in early. So we went back at 2 and the gal that was working was super great and got us in. ||I would stay here again but I’d maybe check out other places first. ||There is a Burger King, DQ, Qdoba and Jimmy John’s close. Walmart about 2 miles away. Dunham sports right across the street.
Looks nice on the outside but is dingy and run down on the inside. Stains on our bedding, bathtub drained slow. A couple front staff were not friendly seemed irritated all the time. The breakfast area which is inside the bar was gross and a mess.
The hotel in need of a refresh, The breakfast is no frills, The menu is always the same. It's a typical continental breakfast. Dehydrated scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuit and gravy cereal available, juices available, coffee, bagels, waffles pancakes jelly, Danish,.. it's funny how important breakfast is to me!! I will pick a hotel solely on its breakfast. . they don't serve their coffee all day . That's an important one to me. If you stay more than one day, you'll just need to ask your maid for items., towels etc, they look to be extremely understaffed and overworked I don't care for the metal frames around the beds. I always lose things and I can never find them and I think they slip behind these beds.. that are always in these type of hotels. I just like a frame where you can see under the bed. They have a decent pool and hot tub they supply towels.. they have a water station in the front lobby where you can fill up your water bottles. Supposably filtered water. They have a gym, no frills.. it's an okay stay, there's a lot of tagging marks or vandalism on objects in the stairwells, placards in the elevators. You'll find a few ice machines throughout the hotel. A few snack machines. They don't take credit cards or debit cards. Cash only., The front desk people were helpful if asked questions, pretty quiet hotel. The fixtures in the bathroom. The hallways The paint it's all in disarray. It needs a refresh but I have a feeling that the person who owns this. Doesn't have the money to keep up on a lot of things. There's a lot of workers who stay here The reviews aren't great. But it's not horrible. I like to just thoroughly clean any place. I'm going to stay in even for one night. I generally bring my own cleaning supplies and disinfect it. A hotel room is a hotel room and it sees hundreds of people thousands a year!
I had a great time here. The front desk staff members were great and friendly. The pool was a perfect size for my kids. The staff in the bar were also friendly and inviting. The lady in the bar took the time to visit with us even though she was the only one there and had other guests. We will be back.
This rambling wreck was probably a stately hotel at one time. Don’t let the name “Astoria” fool ya. This is far from fancy or even nice. It appears to be sorely overstuffed with splatters on the walls, threadbare towels, empty shampoo dispensers and suspiciously stained chairs. But wait there’s more! Smears all over the doors of the elevator, shabby furniture falling apart and halls and stairs not vacuumed. The only reason it didn’t garner a 2 star rating is the pool and gym are oddly nice and well maintained.
Came to visit for the weekend. Arrived at 2:30 am charged me 289$ the room was disgusting found lots of random gross items all over. I tried to let them know and get a new room and the attendant was very rude and inconsiderate. Tried to kick us out at 3 am. Attempted to talk to the manager the next morning and they told me they don't clean the hide a beds and they wouldn't do anything for the inconvenience and disrespectfulness
The bed linen had lipstick (?) stains on it. The kitchen sink had caked on food. The bathroom sink had shaven hair in it. The bathroom sink was also broken and puddling on the floor. The towels were thin and in tatters. Generally not a clean place.
But the staff were great.
I got married last fall, and we booked a room block at the Hawthorn. Kim and her team were phenomenal to work with! We had our rehearsal dinner there, and our wedding party all got ready there the morning of the wedding. Kim even hooked us up with a
Our family of 6 stayed in the suite room. 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Lots of room to spread out. The rate was very decent. Cheaper to book with them directly than Expedia. Breakfast was nice. Lots of variety.
Our room was clean, spacious, had a fridge and microwave, and the beds were very comfortable. Most impressive though was the breakfast! Sweet and salty options, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, waffles, great coffee bar, etc. And the woman working the bre
Great place to stay! Read some bad reviews and was hesitant! BUT from walking in to a pristine lobby, visiting with the owners, and checking out our roomâ(it was spotless, bed was comfortable, bathroom was very clean, too!). So glad we stopped for
If you are young or old, fit or just wanting to start working out...this gym is for you. I got a personal trainer, Ana, because this was my first gym experience and I didn't know what I was doing at all. Ana made sure my expectations were reasonable.
Very friendly service and great food. The spring rolls were amazing - the peanut dipping sauce was perfect...! The Pho was also fantastic.. no option for grilled pork in the Bun and no Bahn Mi sandwiches on the small menu. Highly recommended for s
I really enjoyed my meal here! I ordered a cheeseburger salad, and it was so delicious! I didn't even need to add the ranch, but I sampled it and it was homemade and nice and creamy!
Our waitress was so nice and polite! I loved all the artwork hangin
Driving across the country and we were thrilled to find this gem of a business. The staff were incredibly friendly & kind, running a menu out to our car so we could take a look before placing our order. Our window server greeted us with big smiles wh

Double Mushroom and Swiss with coleslaw. Super service and food. So refreshing to find a great place to eat, never been here before...just passing through town. I would definitely be back if I lived closer. ð
Back in 2019 in route to Glacier National Park saw signage for the Enchanted Highway. Things like this are the reason I drive vs flying, to the main attraction. You can enjoy the unique things you find along your trip. It may have taken me a distanc
