Aston at the Waikiki Banyan - Hotel in Honolulu - 201 ʻŌhua Ave, USA

The Aston Towers has an excellent location less than 2 blocks from Waikiki beach. The Views from the high tower rooms facing the ocean are great and the balcony is very enjoyable. The rooms were well stocked but the kitchen cabinets and appliances are very dated and need to be updated.

Stayed here for a week in early September. This hotel is in a fantastic location, it's one block back from the main Waikiki beach strip. It's also within a 15 minute walk of the international market, all the Waikiki shops, and the zoo. Diamond Head is about a 40 minute walk away and Ala Moana mall is a quick 10 minute drive. The room was really nice, there was a double bed and a single bed and also a couch that folded out into another double bed. The kitchen was pretty fully equipped which is great if you want to cook your own meals - there was a huge fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, oven, etc. There is laundry facilities (paid) on every floor. The pool was great as well. The only downside was that they were renovating the elevators which meant that sometimes you would have to wait 10-15 mins for an elevator - but you could always take the stairs if you are able to. Would definitely recommend staying here, we had a great time.

Last minute trip home. The staff was amazing and helpful. Close to the beach and shops. Room was nice, clean and spacious. Very affordable for making last minute reservations. Would definitely stay here again.

The Banyan is so convenient. The location is perfect. Our trip was the first time for my granddaughters, and this was a perfect place to stay. The building is definitely aging, but the value, where it is, and free parking is so worth it. I personally have stated here many, many times. The staff is excellent. Melissa is your go-to person. She is efficient and knowledgeable. We took a Pearl Harbor tour, and they picked us up just around the corner. No driving. Very convenient. Great stay!

I have stayed at the Ashton at least 6 time since 2017. It's a great location for walking to the beach, many restaurants, bars and shopping. The staff are all very helpful and polite. Both Cliff and Kelley were very helpful when I asked them questions. I recommend it if you like walking and don't want to rent a car.

Okay, so this place is not worth it, the room is spacious but you’re also staying with residents who live there. Sometimes it feels like you have loud neighbors above you, Or to the sides of you. The elevator we took was to the right of reception near the parking garage so it always smells like smoke. This was also an “additional charge of $100 for parking and another $150 for resort fees.” I’m not sure why they don’t charge you as a whole cost instead of surprising us once we’re there. Overall, we didn’t feel like we experienced a Resort stay, it felt like someone Airbnb’d their condo to us. Yes the kitchenette seems like a good way to save some cash but food is expensive no matter what.

I enjoyed my stay here. Service was awesome. Cliff at the front desk was cordial, and he got me checked in quickly and efficiently. Everyone I encountered at the front desk was very polite and knowledgeable. I stayed in Tower 1 Makai. My room was nice and clean. I was greeted by the smell of freshly washed linens and overall cleanliness. The kitchen was such a great amenity, and the view from the balcony breathtaking. I sat there and watched the sunrise a few mornings.

Great location. Walking distance to Waikiki Beach and International Marketplace. The place was comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped.
