Aston at the Executive Centre Hotel - Hotel in Honolulu - 1088 Bishop St, USA

We stayed at the Aston for a night before and after our cruise. The hotel was clean, although a little worn. Our rooms were spacious with great views and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff was exceptional in their customer service - helpful, courteous and friendly. We were able to walk easily to the Iolani Palace. We ubered to cruise dock, Pearl Harbor and airport. A bus stop was nearby that we used to go to Dole Plantation. Bonus: the pastry shop right near the hotel was amazing.

Although the lobby is a floor down from the street, everything was great with our stay. There to move our child to their school down the street, the staff was very accommodating and helpful with all the goods we brought and bought. Very helpful when it came time for move in day. Room is large and the view was beautiful (water view). Enjoyed the days we had left before heading home.

I recently stopped in Hawaii for a few nights to visit some family. I could not stay with them and hotel rates were very high for anything decent. This facility was among the most reasonable. It is also close but not too close to the airport and easy access to other areas of interest or the highways. I found the room exceptionally comfortable and was very happy with my choice.

We chose the Aston because is was down town and had a meeting across the street. The room was great with kitchen, desk, and very roomy. My wife is a light sleeper and the sound of the elevator stopping at our floor woke her up a few times. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating

I would definitely book again whenever I need Jr.Suite type rooms to keep privacy with other(s) sharing the room. Also the fact there are great restaurants nearby is also huge plus. The staff were great too. Nothing to complain about.

This was a nice hotel at a better price than most places in Honolulu. It borders Chinatown, which is kinda depressing, and looks like it's heading toward gentrification. The hotel is on the upper floors of an apartment building and word on the street is that they plan to buy up privately owned units in the near future (my friend was renting an airbnb in one of them the same time I was in the hotel). All the islands of Hawaii are being sold off to the highest bidder. Just like everything in the US for the past couple of decades, private equity firms and chain businesses are buying up everything to eliminate choice and price everyone out of participating in society. So while the stay was perfectly fine and the price, although not great, better than most, it's hard to know how long it will be that way.

Bathroom was not clean very outdated and ran out of soap first night and the sheets on the bed had stains on them from god knows what. And so they brought new bedding to me but then I had to put them on. The whole room was not what I expected because there was cabinet doors that were miss aligned missing paint from hitting same with bathroom and washer and dryer doors as well. When I walked into the room I felt like I should not have touched anything. Which with a full kitchen I could have cooked but didn't. I really wish I would had done more research and spent the same money somewhere nicer. The elevators were very rough and didn't seem to be properly maintained because they all seemed to have a catch in them and I believe we didn't take only 2 elevators out of all 8. The only good thing going for this hotel is the people at the main desk checking you in they were very nice and was very responsive. As of for the security people they just seemed to hate their jobs when you walked by them. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Very friendly customer service. Both were eager to help. I didn't catch her name but she offered discounts for future stays since my visit is for medical reasons. The room was beautiful & very spacious. It's located close to the hospital so if you're up for walking, it's that close.
