We didn't stay there, but ate in the restaurant. Great location. The restaurant was terrific.

They sold this building after we owned one week a year for 40 years. For 40 years our family enjoyed vacationing here our children took their first dip in the pool at only weeks old. Always on time with fees and assessments, and now we do not have it! We only received a thousand more than what we payed for it, 40 years ago, being prime Vail income they did a disadvantage selling it so cheep! So very sad!

We came here through an RCI exchange with VRI for one week. Were told we were in a one bedroom + loft only to find out at check-in that wasn’t true. We had been downgraded to only a one bedroom which meant my husband and I stayed on the fold-out couch for the night that my mother and her husband stayed with us. Not a great start. The shower did not work in the en-suite bathroom, so we all had to share a shower. Another ‘downgrade’ of sorts from a two full bath to a one full bath, one half bath really. ||The spa and fire pit were closed outside our unit, so we had to walk to the main house to use the spa. The fire pit was closed because of fire bans in the area. No excuse for the whirlpool being closed however. Staff was rude at check in and throughout the stay- this is speaking of VRI staff specifically, not all staff at the hotel. The unit was ready about an hour early and it was updated and clean. These were redeeming qualities. We were also not nagged about touring any units or free breakfasts where we’d be hit with a sales pitch which is common with timeshare exchange, so that was a relief. This is a good affordable home base if you’re going to want to be in and around Vail a week or more. Lots of hiking right out the door or within a few minutes drive. Only two hours from Denver, which was great flying in and out of DIA. We would stay again with kids, but wouldn’t want to try to vacation with other couples or even select this accommodation for just ourselves. The pool and gym were clean, although the pool could use dome updates. Sauna and steam room were closed because of covid-19 during our stay. The grills outside the unit were new and easy to use, making staying in and cooking at home a great option for a couple of nights. The location downfall here is that it’s located in West Vail, not Vail proper. We are unfamiliar, so were unaware of the impact of this before our stay. The shuttle offered by the resort was also not running during our stay so we had to drive to Vail to go out shopping and dining in town. It seemed to us that Caronavirus was blamed for many downfalls during our stay they also cancelled housekeeping services and towel exchange for the week because of it. Seemed to us that the should have increased cleaning during this time rather than decreased it. So, all in all you get what you pay for. Lower your expectations so that you are pleasantly surprised at the good! That became our strategy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Aspen building at Streamside. The unit was updated to a nice standard, clean, spacious and convenient to taking free shuttle to Lionshead village to ski. We had plenty of space to cook and the huge L shaped couch was a nice place to relax by the fire. We had the 1 bedroom unlofted unit and it was fine for us and our teenage son. The kitchen is well stocked and the unit was very quiet at night. The outdoor hottub is right outside.

We lucked into a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo vacation unit. We had booked online through a 3rd party and not sure what to expect. It was spectacular and the amenities were many. Everything from underground parking and BBQ's to pools and games rooms. It was shoulder season and the place was not very busy which was great for us. The service was excellent and the staff were super friendly. Check-in/out was super easy. The place was spotless and it was nice having a full kitchen, dining room and living room. We stayed with another couple and the layout of the space was perfect for that. The rooms were divided by the shared space. It was easy to get back and forth to the villages, with a onsite shuttle and public transportation. It was a great stay.

We had an end unit on the river. It was clean, roomy, close to amenities and walking trails. The pools, saunas and exercise facilities were wonderful. The lobby smelled amazing with essential oils. Fruit infused water for the guests and a friendly staff. Resort provides a shuttle to town and grocery stores if needed. The view from our condo was worth every bit!

Pros - good value, 3 miles from Vail town center, very clean, has fully stacked kitchen with full size fridge with freezer, microwave, stove with oven and dishwasher. Ton of small appliances and utensils. Set of dishes and silverware. We wanted for nothing. Separate bedroom with 2 queen size beds. Living room has queen size pull out couch. Cons - no insulation what so ever. You'll be able to hear your neighbors conversation. We stayed on the first floor and could hear people walking day and night. Very loud! First floor also is very dark, had to keep lights on all the time. Would be nice to have night light in the bathrooms. Beds are ok, not the most comfortable and pillows are well...bring your own if you can. Sorry but they are pretty bad. Would we stay here again? Not sure. Good location good value. But if we find something comparable at the same price or little more we'll probably check it out.

The resort was beautifully maintained. There is a walking trail right in front of the resort you can take a walk. Close proximity to many things. Vail village was just beautiful. It's like your in Europe, we loved just walking around. The farmers market on Sunday was fun. Our unit was very nice, updated and clean. Totally recommend and would stay again.

We stayed in a townhouse. It was perfect. Small kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and comfy beds. It was less than 10 mins from the village/lift. It was very relaxing. We even called the front desk for a couple things and they were super quick to respond.

Vail is huge, has awesome slopes, and stunning scenery. Coming from the east coast, it was absolutely jaw dropping when we first made it to the top. Definitely agree with everyone else that it's one of the most scenic resorts in Colorado.
