Asiatic Hotel New York - Featured Reviews (785)
Google says this place is only a 2-star hotel so I wasn't really expecting much. But to my surprise, I really enjoyed my stay here. I would say that's it's a solid 3.5-star hotel quality with a 5-star customer experience. First, the location is great; it's in the heart of Flushing and only a short walk to bus/subway lines. Then there's the free breakfast in the morning. It's simply and really only has basic choices but I appreciate that they have it at all. They also have cold water in the lobby at all times of the day. They can hold your luggage in a secure space if you get there too early for check-in or not leaving quite yet after check-out. The room itself was spacious and clean. The only slightly annoying thing is that since there's only one elevator servicing 9 floors that the wait is a bit long sometimes. Overall I really enjoyed my stay there and highly recommend this location for anyone looking to stay in Flushing.
Chinese hotel in the heart of New York City's Chinatown. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. We just had to spend a night before going to JFK and fly back home so the position is super for the purpose. Basic breakfast in a tiny space (we had to wait for a table to get free from another guest...) but better than nothing. All in all, taken for what it is, the Asiatic hotel inherits a full 3 stars. The location of the Asiatic Hotel in the middle of downtown Flushing is perfect for any occasion. Bathrooms and AC units could use updating but otherwise a clean, friendly, and comfortable hotel at a great price. They even let me check in 3 hours early when i had an early flight the next day.
We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. Great location with eateries and shopping within easy walking distance. Breakfast was filling, would highly recommend getting there between 7-8:30am, the little dining area gets very busy. Cleaning service was thorough, and the rooms felt clean and cozy. 10/10 would stay here again!
Pleasant surprised with the Asiatic Hotel in Flushing. Stayed here for one night prior to flight from JFK. Very convenient to busy Flushing. The breakfast was nice (steamed buns, continental breakfast items). The room was basic but clean. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced. Would stay here again if I am in Flushing.
I booked this hotel for a family member from Europe who got stranded on JFK as a result of the issues caused by CrowdStrike. We were not sure if our family member, who by this time had been traveling for over 24 hours, had made it okay to the hotel. No local number and no data made it difficult to communicate. I had spoken to the hotel twice to make sure the reservation was in order and later that evening the hotel reception called me to confirm our family member had just checked in, even before she herself had a chance to call us. Great service and much appreciated. Also: our family member loves the hotel.
This is the best in class hotel in the Queens region. I wish I could have given it more detailed review.
The staff here are super friendly, very humane and helpful to the customers.
The facilities are top notch and location is perfect with nearby MTA & Subway stations.
Our experience was quite positive. I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels all over the world, from 2-5star, and this one is very decent for a budget option. The things that matter to me most are cleanliness and a comfortable bed. This hotel had both. Even the pillows were good (firm, with support, not flat or fluffy with no substance). While the rooms are small and void of any decor, I was surprised that my room had a microwave, small fridge, and a safe! They even supplied toothbrushes/toothpaste and a shower cap! Now the soap was tiny, but it was all I needed for an overnight stay. The heater/AC unit worked well and was fairly quiet, and they even include breakfast! All in all I was pretty impressed. I would definitely recommend and stay here again, as it is the best value in Flushing for a short stay.
We loved everything about this hotel. The room, the location, the staff. If ever back in NYC, we definitely come here again. It's a 45-50 minutes metro ride to the city center. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. There are shops and resta
