Asian Cuisine Tokyo Pho Thai - Thai restaurant in Waterford Twp - 3420 Highland Rd, USA

First time trying Thai Tea - really liked it. Also had the fried rice and the House Pho. All three of us enjoyed our food.

This place has become my favorite Asian cuisine restaurant, especially in Pontiac, maybe of Metro Detroit. It's a small establishment that does not look very impressive, especially from the outside, but the food has been fantastic. So far I have tried their Chinese and Thai foods, all have been some of the best I've tried, but their crab rangoons are easily the best I've ever had. I would return for those alone, but I'm excited to try new things each time. Their orange chicken is one of the best I've had too. Their pad thai is very good, but I have had others that are probably even tastier. Still, I'm sure their other dishes are amazing. I hope other will find this hidden gem and help to keep them in business! I want to keep trying their food for years to come! I may update this after I have tried more dishes, especially the pho, the bowls of it I have seen were huge and looked and smelled incredible. Oh! And the Thai tea and coffee are very good, very sweet though. And prices are very good and reasonable! Especially for the portion sizes. I should also mention the work staff! Usually seems like there is one waiter and one cook, but they are quick and polite. Not overly friendly or talkative, but their English is pretty good and they were easy to order with and open to some substitutions when asked, which was greatly appreciated.

Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend It was our first time here. Service was great. We enjoyed everything. Tokyo lobster delicious. Duck was crisp to perfection. Curry pad Thai so good. Coconut soup and pho was fabulous. Crispy spring rolls, calamari with the peanut sauce is must. I would order everything again!

Very good Asian restaurant. Our food was tasty and nicely seasoned. The mushrooms were exceptional. The beef dish was well prepared, but the chicken had notes of being reheated. Very good service.

Some of the best pho in Michigan. We actually prefer it to any of the restaurants off of John R or Dequindre. They make their own meatballs, that are soft, yet have the perfect amount of chew. One of the only places around to find a good papaya salad. On hot days I like the vermicelli salad (bun bo xao) or larb. My only gripe here is that sometimes the fresh rolls are cold and no longer soft. Also, their dipping sauce is not my favorite, wish it was the peanut variation. Try the Hmong sausage and chicken! The pepper cup that comes with it, I could eat with anything.

Pretty good though, and the price is fair. But do not try the last one, curry noodles, so salty and sweet. They gave me some new thing to try for free !

Food is okay, but they sell expired can beverages from 2 years ago and they taste horrible and they over charge for them it was $2.98 for a can when thats almost how much a 12 pack is and is 2 years over the expiration date🤢 also owner can be rude and these 2 things are my reason for the 1 star.

My family, friends and I came here for a group event. While I was nervous to take my children to a Thai food restaurant, I had no reason to be. The staff here were amazing and there were Thai choices my children absolutely loved! All of the food was amazing. I was fortunate enough to sample many of the dishes. Before today, I didn't know this place existed. After today, my husband and I will be making the one hour drive nil less than monthly. Five stars!
