This is a very nice little small nature park outside Vernal UT. We saw a deer, chipmunk, and the beautiful fall leaves. We are younger family with an infant and it was perfect for him and our 2 year old daughter. We even used our stroller because the path was so nice. Google doesn't take you directly to the entrance but it isn't hard to find. The enter/use at your own risk sign was a little ominous and strange but we liked the area. Its a great simple place to unwind, bring family and enjoy nature.
Great place for a quiet and beautiful walk.
Nice little relaxing nature walk for little legged toddlers. If you're looking for a lot of scenery, this isn't the place for you. I really want to give this 5 stars, but found their choice of historical pictures to be in poor taste. Out of all the Halloween themed images, this wouldn't be the one I'd pick to represent my park.
This place is pretty cool. It's right behind a neighborhood in Maeser so you almost feel like you're not going to the right place. They have a bathroom and pavilion with tables and benches. A sign with some historical information is at the beginning of the trail. The first little circle was paved, and then the rest is a dirt trail that we could push a stroller through. We went in August in the middle of the day, so it was pretty hot with little shade. Everything was very dry too. I wonder if it would be prettier in the spring. Our kid and dog loved running along the trail. It's a short nature walk, which was perfect for the day.
Hidden behind a neighborhood this walking park has a lot of charming features, is convenient for those close to have a quick nature getaway, and has more than you think. The down side is that it does not have much parking, the desert landscape can be lacking at certain times of the year, and half the trail is sand making it hard to push a stroller. The park is a nature walking park with half the trail a paved loop and the other a sandy walk. This park is used by the local paint rock's and hide them Facebook group, so there can be some fun to find painted rocks. There is also educational plaques explaining the plant life. There is a covered picnic table area and restrooms.
Lots of red ants but my kids love riding they're bike there
Great little walking park. Dogs are allowed on leashes. Nicely kept unpaved trail. Initially wished there was a map of the park but found out that it's small and you can't get lost. There were no brochures available to say what the plaqued numbers ment.
We love this place. My kids especially love this place. It's a fun place to hide and find painted rocks. It's small enough but still a nice little piece of nature.
Incredible rock formations. Feels like a whole different world. The easy path mentioned in other posts is no longer easy. I would say rocks have rolled and covered parts of the easy path. There are worn paths to take still. And the dirt road, t
Nice campground. We were able to fit our 42' 5th wheel in the site. Trees need a little trimming of low branches for big rigs. Clean restrooms and showers.
This food was delicious!! The cook really knows how to cook! The flavors were so well-balanced. I ordered the pad woon sen with chicken and it was my favorite take on that dish that Iâve ever had. The vegetables were fresh, the dish was savory and
Absolutely amazing! The beautiful petroglyphs are unmatched anywhere! I'm from a couple hours away and only learned of this place as a recommendation from a campground operator. Go! It's easy to get to and worthwhile. Don't speed, go 35.
We went to watch âA Tale of Two Cities, the theater was clean, comfortable and it was the first time I have seen a live play that I could actually hear the actors the sound system was great. The play was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed the ex
Beautiful hike to do in the winter! There was +3â of snow so we had to take snow shoes but the arch was spectacular! It took us 2.5 hours round trip. Would highly recommend.

Work brings me to Vernal every few months and I've come to really look forward to grabbing a cold brew at Spoofs. It's delicious! Great customer service as well.
I went there to get some coffee early in the morning and the girl named Liliuokalani did a really good service with a beautiful smile even though it was early and busy. She was really nice. Iâd like to visit there again and again!!
