ASHLEY INN - Motel in Ponca City - 1415 E Bradley Ave, USA

The only reason this review wasn't 1 star is due to how quickly they were able to refund our stay. Once we got to our room we were immediately disgusted. Sticky floors, smelled of death, and roach infested. A total health concern. Do NOT stay here.

I travel for work and this by far has been without a doubt the worst hotel I have stayed in. Right of the bat the customer service was subpar and dismissive of me when I told them of the whole in the wall due the door. The beds where ok, tv was there, the mini fridge was not clean. The worst part was that it was roach infested. I'm talking on or two, I'm talking you turn on the light and they scatter, I was there 2 nights and the second day I went to Walmart and ATWOODS to walk around for awhile because I did not want to go back to the hotel after work. I read a review that said, "this was a working man's hotel" I disagree. After 10hrs of work you deserve a good rest.

The room was clean and the staff was awesome BUT... in the king sized bed room I stayed in, the security latch was busted off completely AND the ground floor window had one of its two latches broke off. Even the very loud heater didn't bother me, but I need to feel secure in my hotel room, and I did not. Very low score for not maintaining the most important thing in my opinion. Safety and security.

We stayed for close to two weeks, the first room we got was upstairs and the first thing we saw was roaches everywhere but we couldn’t complain it was a bed to lay down in, we came back a couple days later for roughly 9 days we got a bottom floor room we have 2 dogs and it was great other than the roaches and needing to get better amenities the wifi was ok but we ended up hooking our Xbox up to the tv because they only got a few decent channels. The staff were great and very helpful

I stayed for 1 night on 4/17/2022, check in was good but when intered in the room and got settled in the and the remote wasn't the right one so had to go to the front desk to get another one, and the rooms had no phones at all to get ahold of them and not enough plug ins either the pop machine works but wasn't cold and it took my 2.00 dollars and didn't get that back at all. They beds was terrible felt like sleeping on rocks they really need to update there beds, they had a water leak on the first floor, and very noisy all night. The towels was nasty and no breakfast at all or coffee .won't be returning to that place. I'll pay more for a better place.

Mold and hair in sink and tub, no towels even if you did take shower, potato chips on floor, dirt on floor, TV kind of faced 1 bed and the wall with no way to turn it so other person could watch, had to unplug microwave to plug in laptop that's when we noticed many potato chips and dirt on floor, beds were sunk in, pillows was flat, the park on backside of motel look like druggie heaven. Wish there was a button to the negative cause it was worse than terrible. The front desk seemed nice but that is it!

Do away with the smoking rooms and that alone would probably drastically improve this hotel. That's the first thing that hits you when you walk in is the smell of cigarettes and it doesn't leave your nose. Location is perfect, however, which was a major convenience. Discounted room rate for Military/Veterans was greatly appreciated - thank you!
