A little maze of trails. Be sure to make your way to the water. Big fish were jumping and not sure why there wasn't anyone fishing there. In fact, it was a warm Saturday afternoon and we never saw another person. Other trails in the area are more crowded, especially the ones suitable for bicycles.
I absolutely love this trail as well as the trail it connects to in Pennsylvania. Great way to see nature and get away from civilization. This parking lot marks the southern end of the trail and has a small parking lot without a bathroom.
It's always one of the best places to go when needing to clear your mind and rediscover the true meaning of it all...
Also, it's great for a fun day with the kids rafting in the light current of the river, which flows alongside the trail for quite a while.
Many places to catch fish as they're constantly jumping up by the bridge.
Portable bathroom at the bridge also.
Highly recommended place to go if you're visiting Maryland 👍 😁
