We really enjoy staying here and are repeat customers. The staff is always helpful. It is so convenient having breakfast included. The location is perfect for us, we park and then walk everywhere! The rooms are restful and the property is very attractive and well maintained. In the summer we love to sit in the courtyard. We will be staying there again.
Ashland Springs Hotel|Ashland, Oregon|June 1, 2024 – June 3, 2024||This is an iconic hotel right in the middle of downtown Ashland. It is conveniently located by the Shakespeare festival, and near a great variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel lobby is a wonderful throwback to the 1920’s or 1930’s, and their restaurant offers a delightful variety of fine dishes. The rooms are tiny, reflecting the norms of a bygone era, but hey are comfortable and nicely decorated.||Checkin / out:|Checking in and out is easy, but don’t try to check in too early. They will let you park your car early, so you can explore town until checkin time.||Parking:|There’s ample parking behind the hotel. Access is controlled so you don’t have to compete with festival goers. ||Cleanliness:|We were happy to find the rooms nice and clean.||Bed:|The bed was a little soft for me.
Lovely older hotel with classic ellegance. We visit Ashland very often on our way to or from Portland. We have not stayed at the Springs before because we usually traveled with our dog. This trip was pet free, so we tried it. You can't beat the location in town. This is a very old hotel, so you must be ok with quirkiness and smaller rooms and bathrooms. We were in a King room with a view, and it was perfect for sleeping. Linens and towels are nice, bed was comfy, air worked great and shower had good water pressure. If you want more lounging space, this is not the hotel for you, but you can gather in the nice lobby. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Maddison at the front desk made our trip by helping us with room placement.
We had a nice stay at this unique hotel. It's a historic building that's been remodeled and has a lot of character. Our room was compact, but still had plenty of room for the two of us and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom features a very deep tub and a rain showerhead that was nice. ||The front desk staff were friendly at check-in and check-out and made sure we knew where the vending machines were located (outside of the building) as well as the water bottle refiller. We were a little disappointed in the breakfast - it was a continental breakfast, but would have liked to see some fresh fruit, muffins, etc... ||Shopping and restaurants are all in walking distance and parking is free in the back of the building and is gated - you open with your door key.
We had a premium view king for 4 nights, free parking. Well located stately building with good view from our room. Clean with good bathroom, furniture and carpet had stains. Breakfast was poor with overcooked scrambled eggs and grocery store bagels. We cancelled our dinner reservations at Larks based on the lame breakfast. Would not choose Ashland again as a base to stay.
We don’t often stay in renovated older hotels, but this location is a true gem. We stayed higher up on the sixth floor, which helped with the views and possibly kept the adjoining room noise to a minimum. The staff was very friendly and provided much more than just a continental breakfast that was delicious. Parking was easy behind the hotel Locations in downtown Ashland were very easy to walk to. We very much enjoyed being able to stroll to the theater and to Lithia Park. You could easily stay here for a week and never go to the same restaurant or wine tasting room. Have fun in the surrounding areas wine tasting, and going to shows
Nice small basic motel good for sleeping. About an 1/2 hr walk to Downtown. Clean and quiet. Good basic breakfast
Lovely hotel! Warm & inviting decor, charming & helpful staff, & very convenient location in center of very walkable Ashland. Cozy rooms - very clean. Comfortable beds. Small bathrooms - not surprising for a vintage early 20th century structure. LOVED IT!!!
Exceeded my expectations!! I came for an artist retreat and got so much more! Jacqui and Billy were wonderful hostesses. Jacqui accommodated every single need from planning amazing art activities, delicious local restaurants, beautifully appointed
We had a great time! The theme and puzzles were entertaining and just the right amount of challenging. Thanks Eden for being the perfect âbar tenderâ host!
