There’s a line in the movie Field of Dreams, “is this heaven”? The answer isn’t Iowa, it’s the Ashland Creek Inn. Set on the bank of the creek, steps from downtown Ashland, you sit on the deck overlooking the rushing creek after having a delicious breakfast. Your room is decorated tastefully and the owner Graham makes sure the service is impeccable. |We hadn’t been here since before Covid and happily it’s improved.

The romantic Sienna suite was perfect for an anniversary getaway and would highly recommend. The proprietor and innkeeper Graham was wonderful and showed us nothing but great hospitality, food and lavish accommodations. Each suite has a unique personality and style. Lots of privacy and beautiful gardens, creek and stream along the patio but a close walk to town for everything you need. Complimentary breakfast in the morning to converse more with the host was a nice treat too. Thank for everything we will be back soon!

We have stayed at inns and hotels all over the world. Our experience at the Ashland Creek Inn ranks in the Top Ten - worldwide! Beginning with the theme of our room, the Devon Suite, all of the furnishings were curated with an uncanny eye for detail, making us feel as though we were actually in England. This suite has two balconies overlooking Ashland Creek. Due to the heavy snows this winter, recent snowmelt meant that the creek was running full and fast, and its gentle burbling sound was a perfect way to drift off to sleep. The beds are extremely comfortable. There is a tasty little in-house baked treat placed on the table inside the door each day. While Lunch and Dinner are not served (Don't worry, there are plenty of other venues in Ashland for those meals) the Breakfast is outstanding, uses locally sourced ingredients, and leaves you full and satisfied. Located on a very quiet side street, there is virtually no traffic noise, and yet multiple restaurants, shops, galleries, theaters, and even Lithia Park, are all within walking distance. Innkeeper and Owner Graham obviously loves his job,. He is friendly, hospitable, and can carry on a conversation on just about any topic. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Ashland Creek Inn during our visit, and we STRONGLY recommend that you stay here, too!

The experience we had at Ashland Creek Inn far exceeded our expectations. This was a treasure of a find. We stayed in the Copenhagen suite and not only was the suite filled with cute decor and comfortable furnishings the outside patio overlooked a stocked koi pond and a lush landscape that added to the overall serene feeling of the inn. The self check in process was seamless and being able to park parallel to the sidewalk directly outside of our suite door made unloading and loading our luggage super easy. The breakfast that we as guests were served in the main lobby was on par with breakfast at a 5 star luxury hotel. Additionally, the Inn host was friendly, a great conversationalist, and a helpful local guide. We were blown away by the entire experience. If we ever plan to return to Ashland, Oregon we will definitely try to book another stay at Ashland Creek Inn. What an amazing place.

A lovely quiet spot on the creek but just steps away from downtown. Each suite has a theme. We stayed in the Sienna which had a beautiful private deck over the creek, fire place AND a Juliet balcony off the bedroom. One of the highlights is the amazing gourmet breakfast. Each morning was different and absolutely delicious! I would say the only down side was the giant jacuzzi tub that takes up way too much room. Plus the jets did not work. But we will definitely be back!

Our stay could not have been better. Beautifully appointed spaces encouraged relaxing, either from our private balcony above the creek, or in a comfy lounge chair in the lovely garden patios. Our room was spacious and charming, with large windows to enjoy the views and creek music. The delightful sitting area was perfect for gathering to reminisce about our adventures over a glass, or three, of wine. And the little kitchenette had everything for preparing an impromptu snack. Comfortable beds. Spacious bath. And very quiet. Looking forward to returning sooner than later?

The hotel is only staffed from 9am to 3pm. Absolutely no one around during the typical hours that guests check in and check out. We stayed on a weeknight, and only one other room in the whole building appeared to be occupied. When I walked the dog later in the evening and early in the morning, I was approached by a couple of panhanlders and I didn't like the fact that there weren't other people around because it's down a poorly lit small side street on the edge. The hotel room was nice - comfy beds, nice linens and fluffy towels, and the outdoor decks overlooking the creek are great.

My husband and I have stayed in many stellar hotels and inns, and Ashland Creek is one of the most wonderful of them all! We were in the Copenhagen Suite, but I imagine that the experience in all the (themed) suites is the same—exceptional attention to detail, every amenity and comfort imaginable provided (freshly baked chocolate chip cookies upon our arrival, comfy robes, jacuzzi tub, fully-equipped kitchenette, interesting books to read). And all accomplished with style! Breakfast is included. We enjoyed ours on the outside deck next to the babbling and beautiful Ashland Creek. Graham, the owner of the Inn, made sure that all my dietary needs (gluten-free, dairy-free) were accommodated, and the meal was delicious: fresh fruit smoothie, french toast, chicken + apple sausage, fruit. Had there been any room available for a second night, we would have extended our stay.
