Arx Mortis - Haunted house in Killen - 4051 US-72, USA

Very fun!! My adult friends and I had a ton of fun opening night, but honestly it would be great for older kids as well! Accordion guy was great, overall a great experience!

Went to a couple of places this year and this one was my favorite. The actors involved are really giving it their all and the atmosphere and sets really amp up the spook factor. I also liked their line system as you don’t have to just stand still in 1 place while you wait. Being able to wander around and explore the shop and mingle was a nice option. They definitely got several good scares out of me!

Willow is the best!!! This place was amazing!! Great make up and special effects!! 14 of us loved it!!

This is hands down the best Attraction I have been to. I can't wait for future events. The characters are very Interactive and do an amazing job from start to finish in the haunt and while you are waiting. Also I love very much how they separate for the older and the younger while also giving people so much to do while waiting for both. All of the sets throughout the haunt and village are very well thought out and truly makes you feel like your transported somewhere else. Absolutely a 10/10 and a MUST!!!

Nice Haunted house , the actors they hire definitely do their job , they will mess with you scream at you run behind you surprise you which is fun . Its big and fun . I like how they set up trails outdoors in between indoors . The robots work good and nicely set up . We also did the underground package which is little extra , it was worth it . They have photo booth at the end with green screen so you can take pictures with different scary backgrounds . All in all good nice fun place . Worth it .

Best scares and great staff. The costumes are always amazing and the actors are so talented. The decorations are on point. There's always so much to do and look at! My cousin sprained her ankle on accident and they were more than accommodating with helping her get out safely and well taken care of. 10/10, would survive Arx Mortis again!

This might be long winded but bare with me. I am a horror movie/haunted house nut. Found out about this place from friends. Drove eight hours to see it... and let me say, ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!! it has a very old school meets new school vibe. I love that once you enter the grounds you can free roam until your color is called. The staff is great. The actors in the waiting area have incredible energy (and so do the actors inside the attraction). I've been to plenty of haunts and price of admission to length of show is outstanding here compared to others. I won't ruin anything (rooms or characters) but man, there were some really cool looking rooms and characters. The details in the sets, costumes and makeup show how talented these guys and gals are. Really big gift shop at the end with pretty cool stuff. To wrap this all up, Killen AL is lucky to have a haunted house like this in their town. I will definitely come back too because I heard they do events outside of Halloween.

The venue is top notch but it’s definitely not scary. The set up is awesome but it’s like someone forgot to turn it all on. Great potential but absolutely not worth 43.00!! The local fire station for 5 bucks is way better!!!
