Arvida Park - Park in Miami - 12830 SW 108th St, USA

Arvida Park is a small park located next to a middle school in a very nice neighborhood. The park doesn't have designated parking space, so parking is a hassle, especially around school dismissal. Depending on the time, you will find a lot of the students hanging out in the park and can get very crowded. The park has a grass field that serves as a multi-purpose play area and a path around it for walking,  jogging,  running, biking, etc. It has a picnic area with a grill, but please note that it is not shaded, and the park does not have restrooms or water fountains. It's a dog friendly park (dogs should be on a leash at all times) and has a station with bags to clean up after your dog. The playground is divided into 2 structures, one meant for children 2-5, which is super small and the other one for older kiddos. It also has 2 swings and a saucer swing. The playground could be better. It doesn't have shade, and the structures get very hot. The floor surface is rubber around the 2-5 children's area and mulch for the older kiddos and swing areas.  I noted that the mulch needs refilling as soon as possible because you can see a lot of stones and pebbles that deviate the purpose of surface safety. Overall, it looks more like a neighborhood park than a Miami Dade County Park.

Took the dog at 10pm empty dog loved it roaming around , I loved it, pull ups on the monkey bars Stars at night you don't have to drive to krome or Okeechobee

Nice, family park. Good size kiddie playground. Nice walking path. Easy parking.

nice stucture for small kids and also for older kids too. park has a grass field and a path around it. liked it very much. just wish it would have a public restroom and sand was a bit cleaner.

This park is alright, there is not really much to do. They don't offer anything else than a soccer field and a really small playground for the kids. There are no water fountains like in other parks and the trail for walking or running is kind f small.

Dog friendly but no drinking water supply, you would think that Miami-Dade County could at least supply drinking water

Went to the park to do some PT and didn't realize the kids were outside playing from school. The supervisors were very kind and responsible. It's a nice park.
