This Club is sandwiched between the White House and George Washington University. It is a private club but open to the public during certain hours. The historic building is worth the visit and you can visit certain rooms that have art hanging on the walls. You can also use the facilities for events. If you enjoy art and a quiet atmosphere this is a very nice venue.
I felt really welcomed going in by the staff at the door. Very professional and sweet. I will definitely visit again
A majestic house with a legacy related not just to James Madison's residence there, but his early months as President as well as it served as the US Executive Mansion while the White House was being repaired after War of 1812. Great facilities for socially distanced meetings, a small theatre, an intone meal with a world-class chef, a quiet courtyard, and endless stories of fascinating individuals!
Our Arts Club of Washington experience was terrible. Yann missed our scheduled tour, but his assistant stepped in, impressing us with the venue. Despite our readiness to proceed, the assistant promised a proposal in a week, then vanished. Multiple emails and calls went unanswered, and her email even bounced back as nonexistent. The phone number provided was dead. It's disheartening how this lack of professionalism goes unchecked, likely due to a constant influx of bookings. Best of luck if you decide to engage with this venue.
This was an unexpected treat for me. I received an email about a dinner theatre production about the pending election and decided to go. The location is quite historic and beautifully furnished. There are documents signed by early presidents on the walls. The courtyard in back was charming and features a relief of a bygone scene. Though it is a private club for artists and collectors, the location has regular openings and lectures revolving around the arts. The event I went to was affordable: $40 for a buffet dinner, a 90 minute musical, and a dessert spread afterwards. The members were all very friendly and informative, lively and welcoming.

Every level could take hours to examine. It really shows how amazing the Bible is and its impact on the world. I'd say kids about 8 and up would like it. You get night be a challenge with some of the levels. Or come multiple days.
An often missed museum but worth checking out. You get to learn about the history of the National Guard and their importance from past to present.
