Artillery Bar - Featured Reviews (434)
We visited Artillery because of the great reviews and recommendation from a friend. The design is stunning - there are so many textures and moody lighting that create a sophisticated yet cozy ambiance (loved the tile ceiling). The service was professional and friendly enough. Everyone who enters gets carded. The space isn’t super large so I could see how it would fill up quickly but the gorgeous bar offers a lot of seating. We ordered an espresso martini, French 75, and Artillery Punch. We loved all of them!
There is a good variety of creative cocktails and wines and the cocktail menu shows you what glass your drink will come in which is fun. There is also a “call” button at every seating group that you can press for service. Speakeasy vibes!
Would definitely come back here. Great spot for pre or post dinner drinks.
Our tour guide recommended this place for the best cocktails in Savannah and that was definitely not a lie! The menu was extensive, drinks were so unique, and even the bathrooms had the best vibes with good smelling candles. Can't ask for much more than that
Stopped in for drinks before dinner, ended up spending more time than we thought falling in love with the cocktails and ambience. All of the bartenders were personable and made our experience that much better. Even when we had to change one up, they made it an even better cocktail. The complimentary snacks made it even better and allowed us a great first night in Savannah.
I must preface by saying that I and my wife, locals both, have been going to Artillery for over 4 years. We have spent countless time and money here and have recommended this establishment to probably hundreds of people for not just the craft cocktail experience they have built, but the exemplary customer service as well. Tonight, my wife and I got married and had been planning for over 10 months on taking ~6 close family members who have traveled from across the globe to be here to Artillery and arrived before 11:00 PM tonight. We went inside and were told, despite the number of patrons inside, that they were closed. I asked the bartender if there was any way we could grab a quick drink, as we just wed and have been planning this journey for some time. The response was a cold, "Congratulations, but we're actually closed." When I asked about the odd timing and no updated calendar hours, I was told, coldly again, "it's the week before Thanksgiving, so we are closing early tonight, sorry." Before the bartender swiftly walked away and left from view without hardly looking us in the eye.
As I said, I have been a continued local patron of Artillery for years, and I have never once before tonight felt coldly treated or anything off about the service. It was the one location I wanted to bring my people who have traveled from as far as Australia to be here in Savannah as an example of the best that coastal Georgia has to offer in the way of excellent cocktails and excellent service. That's why I have changed my review.
Tonight seemed to defy my normal expectation of the most consistently excellent bar in Savannah, and most importantly, broke my trust as a long-term customer on an extremely important evening.
So cute. Such a cool place to take the edge off after a stressful day.
Wednesday nights are happy hour nights! Wine is half off I believe!
FYI: no standing room.
This was a really cool bar with historic roots. First off the atmosphere in here is awesome. Seating is very limited however. The cocktails were very cool and unique. Bartenders were very nice and quick with the orders. If the side bar stool seating was more comfortable my friends and I would have stayed longer but on to the next place. If you can snag a seat at the main bar you could probably stay here all night.
This quaint little bar really knows their cocktails. Dimly lit for the full speakeasy experience. We sampled signature cocktails and classics - all were crafted with care and expertise. Bar staff were courteous and friendly. Attracts locals as well as tourists in the know. Food rating is N/A.
The Artillery Bar was a bit of a disappointment for both my wife and I. We didn't really like our drinks. They tried to fix my Old Fashioned but it just couldn't be saved. I should have just got straight bourbon or rye. No food here which wasn't a problem, just a heads up. This is a very cozy joint with a lot of atmosphere. My wife and I need to give it some more tries to see if we can find cocktails that we like.
What a great way to end the tour of the American Prohibition Museum. The bartender was so friendly and interactive with all of us in the bar. We had a fun experience with Malört and toasting to my birthday. The two cocktails(Sidecar & French 75) we
I love the community and teachers at Savannah Power Yoga! Also the NEW LOCATION in Wilmington is GORGEOUS. They have thought of everything to have a clean, beautiful aesthetic with a spacious feel. When Iâm visiting Charleston itâs my hOMe studio
Was traveling through and had the privilege of working out with a fun and talented group. The online sign up was super easy, was able to sign my waiver and reserve a class in a jiff. The gym was conveniently located and a quick walk from my hotel. T
amazing store!!! with a ton of colorful and cute options at reasonable prices and other fun collection of items such as stickers and jewelry!! not only is the store design impeccable but there is also a vintage section in the backâ¦. overall so fun
I was just here for the first time this afternoon. I was welcomed by âAliceâ who knows much about the history within the exhibits. Immediately upon entering, you witness wall to wall military artifacts of various theaters. The nice feature about
Great place to stay. The only thing that could have made our stay better would be a better mattress in our room. You are literally so close to a perfect review, but the mattresses need improvement!
We were visitors at this studio for the day during our trip to Savannah. We absolutely loved the spaciousness of the lobby and the studio. They had the new treads. The rowers are closer together than some other studios but the floor was super spaciou
Friendly service and great food. I ordered the Curried Goat with fried dumplings and peas and rice. The goat was perfectly seasoned and tender and the rice was some of the best I've had. It was my first time having fried dumplings and they are quite
