Arsenio's Mexican Food - Mexican restaurant in Clovis - 1810 Ashlan Ave, USA

Went to the drive thru and had quick and friendly service. The chicken on the nachos were amazing! Huge portions for both the nachos and the chimichanga. Didn’t realize we would get all the topics for the chimichanga. Was a bit too much sauce for my taste, but everything overall was great. Never had a bad meal from this Arsenios’ location.

The only things i order here are the Super Nacho Carne Asada and Super Fries Carne Asada. I would ask them to make a half nacho and half fries. So that was my go to. Then one day, I ordered my usual and was told that the owner said that I could not order that anymore as they would not do it. Both cost the same, ??????? Must be too difficult to put half chips and fries in the container. This has nothing to do with the rating stars, my food has always been fresh and hot with fast service. I like what I like so I will find it elsewhere. 3 stars on Atmosphere is because there is very limited seating.

Didn’t realize this Arsenio’s was inside a gas station, there is a drive-thru though! The food was great but my asada fries were just a bit salty. Served fresh, crunchy fries, tender meat, plump burrito. Thought the asada burrito would be more meaty but maybe it’s because I picked the “with everything” instead of “regular?” All the rice inside it was so filling though! Friendly customer service. Good location with spacious drive through and modern ordering speaker. I prefer the asada fries from the chestnut/Belmont location more because the fries are bigger and overall taste better.

I ordered the beef burrito and enchilada. I didn't expect the burrito to be so small, with barely any meat. The enchilada was just cheese too. For 15 bucks, I expected more meat, but all I got was tortilla, rice, mashed beans, and 75% cheese.

Update: (10/2/2023) Gave it another shot for a few weeks, they have much better customer service now. Both the lady and the older gentleman are nice and food portion has gotten a little bit better. Quick and fast. Keep up the great work you guys! —————————————— - Food portions have gone wayyy down! -Count your change because they’ll fold your money and fool you into thinking it’s all there, the cashier stole $5. Another time, we ordered smoothies and it was made right away, but they put our drinks to the side as we watched and waited 15min for our food. By then, our smoothies were just warm watery mush.

There fresh drinks are really good horchata 👌🏽I know what good horchata is and this one is one of them, there burrito is good a little pricey considering other restaurants, I guess they carry varieties of burrito you have to be specific when ordering.

I ordered a carne asada torta and recieved a lettuce torta. There was so much lettuce my torts was cold.. 9.00 SMH Granted this just one half of the Torta.. COME ON MAN!!
