The food was very authentic and A+ most places have dried rice with no flavor the rice was amazing!! The different salsas and queso you get as a courtesy is absolutely amazing!! I recommend this place 1000% and I’m picky about my Mexican food.
This is a tiny old place close to downtown. You can tell it’s been there a while. Its very clean and quiet. The food and service are great.
We got there just before they opened. Shady outside but a little better once we're inside. Asked for drinks, sweet tea wasn't ready and apparently wasn't going to be ready anytime soon. 2nd guest came I again asked for sweet tea...in Texas we all know how long it takes to make a pitcher of sweet tea...Anyways!! We were brought out chips which were crisp and light with three yes, 3 types of salsa. Light & warm tomato blend, queso and red salsa. Then our waitress came out, no one other than our party of 5 and another customer. I guess our waitress was in a hurry but definitely not to make sweet tea. I could tell because of the tapping of her pen on the menu. Food ordered and we wait. Wait was short and food came from the back by cooks. Fast and they were friendly definitely an older generation out to make it in this world! Tacos were okay. Not the best bust but not terrible either. Rice came in and was fluffy with good flavor. This place over all was good for the amount of food ordered and refilling our drinks. Guess this new generation and not morning people or who knows maybe she had a bad morning. 🤷
Ordered online and shrimp was missing. Called and they said I could come pick up. I arrived and the cook thought I was missing stuffed jalapeños when it was indeed shrimp. He argued with the lady who was helping me back and forth for a minute before he went back and made the shrimp. To be fair the shrimp was really good, but for the rest of my meal not so much. The rice was dry, the guac was already turning brown, the stuffed jalapeños tasted like the ones from sonic, and the queso was watery. This was my first and last time ordering from there.
This restaurant used to be my family's favorite mexican restaurant in the area. Delicious food, decent prices, good service. We've been over 30 times in the past few years. But the last time we went, the food was terrible and the once warm and helpful staff were gone. The rice was dry, the salsa smelled bad, the meat was dry and burnt. It pains me to say but I will never go back again. The new management ruined my favorite mexican restaurant.
Have quickly grown to love this place in Sherman. Let's be honest, there is no shortage of Mexican Restaurants in Sherman/Denison. Finding one that stands out above the others is sometimes difficult. But the flavor of everything here is excellent. Salsa is excellent and they bring queso out with the chips too. A few surprises like the Hawaiian Fajitas really stand out.
Im not one to complain but I order from there at least once a week and I’ve never had a problem. I’ve never had to check my order always bragged about how great there tacos are. I don’t live in Sherman so I drove 20 minutes into town to get there tacos. I ordered 10 beef tacos and they were the wrong kind. I wasn’t a fan and I only ate one and then had to throw them away.
Waitress and service were horrible. She did not listen and brought the wrong items to my table every time. The couple nearby was complaining about her too. Then ask me if l wanted my change when l went to pay my bill. I prefer the option to tip for good service as l do . Then she got mad when l said l did want my change. I usually had good service there but l won't be back .

This is a tiny gem! We came for the Carne Asada Buritos and left with so much more. I can't wait to try many more things off their menu. If I could have ate any more I would have got their elote, it looked pretty good. The prices are very reasonable
I honestly canât say enough great things about this place. Small mom and pop place with some of the best tacos Iâve ever had, I eat here at least 3 times a month. We have done done in (pre-COVID), delivery and take out. Today though, I had a very
Great little authentic traditional Mexican food restaurant. I Love the decor. There are TV's mounted to the walls, playing various sports events. It's hidden away, off Houston Street, down from the Sherman Grayson County Courthouse and government bui

This place is off the highway in Sherman and is always a favorite lunch needed when visiting. We've been coming since the kids were little, and nothing has changed other than the location. Still an awesome burger joint with all the fixings. Recommend
