Hidden jewel in the city of Ventura. Highly recommend park as it offers plenty for people of all ages and lifestyles to do. Park is clean and provides excellent walking/hiking trails for all levels. Park could be monitored a bit closer due to the visitors not complying with park rules often but for the most part, park holds up well and looks great.
I am a heavy honey tourist that takes walks recreationally. This park is super amazing. There are multiple options to make your walk/hike/run as difficult as you like and all offer wonderful views. I will admit that I was physically wanting to die on some of the steep inclines but I made it. Literally- at one point I thought I might have to bear crawl -but that could be me being dramatic because I saw a hottie with a body RUNNING and encouraging his dog to keep up. I was thinking don’t mind me I’m just the middle aged overweight tourist trying to have some off the beaten path fun. This park is very popular and you’ll be sure to find lots of dogs, people, and the occasional out of shape tourist.
Wow oh wow the views you can get on a clear day hiking these trails are unbeatable.
I would ten out of ten recromend coming here with the family or just by yourself if you are wanting to get out of the house. It's really quite stunning when it's a clear day outside.
Love it! My #1 nearby place to hike to keep me in good health. You can mix it up to make it a easy hike or good hard workout of a hike.

Captain, deck master, deck hand and guides were all very personable and professional. Really loved the experience boating to and diving around Anacapa Island.
Cavern Point Loop Trail was a brief loop for us. If I remember correctly, we headed back to the dock to ensure we didn't miss our ferry and cut through part of the trail by way of a private-looking road meant for park ranger use.
