Atmosphere’s really the only thing lacking here. Came in late summer and it felt noticeably more dead in here than the busy streets outside. Food was great though, if pricey—but that’s to be expected in little mountain towns. Not a knock at all. Little things make a difference to me. I appreciated their selection of hot sauce and whatnot with my chicken and waffles. Great place and I do recommend stopping in!
Delicious meatloaf sandwich and killer elk chili 🌶️. Cool animal murals and antler 🫎 artwork male it a great stop when in Creede!! Super friendly and accommodating server even when it got super busy and he was alone up front. We will be back!!
We just had a beef sandwich and a turkey sandwich and they were delicious. Fast and friendly service together with tasty food makes ARP’S a place to visit if in Creede!
So disappointing. Went to Arps' in the formerly "Blue Moose" for my birthday breakfast. I ordered their Huevos Rancheros, I asked our sweet server/hostess for my eggs to be cooked so the whites were solid and the yolks, runny. my wife ordered two eggs, over easy. She was prompt in bringing our order. BUT, my plate was cold and so was my food. Who likes cold huevos rancheros? My wife's plate was also cold. When our server asked how we were doing, I told her about my cold plate and food. Plus my eggs were cooked like hard-boiled yolks. Wife's also. Our kind server had wife's replaced quickly with hot plate, food and over-easy eggs. As i had already eaten the great-tasting cold chili and black beans, I couldn't ask for another plate.
So disappointed!
Fabulous food, drink and service. The live music was a very nice touch for the outside dining. We tried chicken tortilla soup, salmon filet, Ceasar's and garden salad, BLT and Grilled cheese and Strawberry rhubarb mojito, holy cow, everything truly was delicious! Homemade dressings probably sent us over the top, though~ (wish they weren't doing service in To-Go boxes, would make for nicer pics)
This place is amazing. If you are in Creede, Colorado, take some time and eat here. This place is a gem! The portions were on point, and the meat dishes were perfectly cooked. They have amazing cocktails, excellent service and have I mentioned the food is great!? Get here. Eat here. Leave happy.
We had a wonderful time here. The service was fantastic. The food was amazing.
Definitely get the Tomato soup. The steak with the chimmichuri was amazing.
Overpriced grilled cheese and tomato soup. I agree with other reviewer tourist trap.
$17 for this!!! $2.50 for a can of pop and it’s all self serve after we paid an $8.35 tip. Go somewhere else to eat.
The atmosphere was so peaceful and inviting. The coffee and blueberry muffin was amazing - I had a vanilla & hazelnut latte with a dash of cinnamon. My husband doesnât care for coffee so he had the apple cider - he finished his In 2 minutes⦠defi
We've visited twice now, and it's a wonderful place to explore. The trail to the waterfall into the overlook are both fairly easy to hike and aren't much distance, and you'll have the bonus of driving through a cattle ranch and may see the occasional
In all my years I have never experienced more glorious autumnal scenery! The colors are vibrant and there are different geological marvels every direction you turn. If your schedule does not allow for a fall visit, the latter remains true no matter w
Easy to find. Plenty of parking. The audio tour was perfectly timed. The exhibits were designed very lifelike & helped in understanding the actions of the workers. There was a lot of information & history. It was definitely interesting & educational.
Beautiful scenery and lots of intact mining structures. We purchased the guidebook at the visitor center. Alot more information on the sites. We took 2 hours to complete the loop stopping at many of the sites. Visiting the mining museum also helps y
