Everyone working was friendly and great, checking on the guests and regulars. The country Fried steak was good but could've been crispier. Turnips greens were delicious and the mashed potatoes were very "homey" but at least homemade.
The atmosphere is nice and the employees were also very nice. Mac and cheese was good and collards were good too but both were a bit salty. Cornbread was nice and soft. I will say the portions are quite small for the price you pay , inflation I suppose. The chicken was good but it was a small piece with not much meat on it. The only 2 things we didn’t care for was the chicken fried steak because the breading was soggy and steak was tough and also the pie, it was just way too sweet and falling apart. This definitely seems to be a hangout for the older folks to get some home style food and chat . It’s your typical home style southern type food. For two people we paid $50 + with the tip just to give you a general idea of what to expect.
Very homely cafeteria style spot. My wife loved the banana pudding, I enjoyed the veggies. The roast beef was average, some parts were super flavorful while others were bland.
Took my buddies here for our monthly get together since they were open again. Portions are less than half what they used to be. All three of us got meat and three and a piece of pie. My creamed potatoes were a single ice cream scoop. I drank water. Bill was almost $78! That's right, $26 a plate even though the rating is a single $.... Skip this one folks.
We had our wedding reception and rented the entire place out on a Sunday. Kahlil and his crew took care of everything including the DJ/karaoke! Food was awesome as always and Courtney is the best bartender. The entire vibe makes you feel like family when you walk in the door.
So good, I came back again!! I was only in Nashville for the weekend and I was recommended to come here. I love my BBQ food and if you like to cook it well, like myself, it's always very hard to find good BBQ not made at home. Arnold's absolutely smashed it. The brisket was one of the best I'd ever had. The jalapeno grits is probably one of the best things I've ever experienced. The folks there were so accommodating to the Brit who had never had 'meat and 3' before. Would recommend this place to everyone that is lucky enough to visit Nashville. Thank you so much to the chefs and staff at Arnolds ❤️
This place is worth every penny. I was apprehensive seeing the cafeteria style ordering. But I was wrong to judge. The staff is super friendly. They told us which sides they liked. We got a mix and loved it all. Not sure if you can go wrong here.
This place was amazing. I really enjoyed most of what I got here. The things I particularly enjoyed were the specials chicken fried chicken and brisket crunchy taco. In addition to this really enjoyed the grouper. The service / employees also were really nice and were very patient in explaining ingredients for dietary restrictions

This is such a cool restaurant. You feel like you are about to walk into Grandma's house. The service is excellent. Incredibly friendly. I love the concept of an ever changing menu. It really allows the chef to showcase their skills. The food was fan
I was really debating on giving 4 or 5 stars because I give it a 4.5 overall. The half star deduction comes from the oatmeal and gravy not being hot enough to my liking. But I had the buffet, which I rarely do, and that is the biggest issues with buf
Guess what?! PDK has the best catfish and banana pudding ever!. I visited last summer for lunch while in town and recall the catfish was well seasoned and prepared to perfection, hot and ready, packed with flavor and not "oily" whatsoever. It was qui
Absolutely loved it here! The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and very attentive. The coleslaw and cornbread was my favorite, but everything was so good!! Prices aren't bad either for my family of 5.
We swung in here to catch some music and have a drink. It's a great place. We really enjoyed the band and came back on the 2nd night as well and the other band was just as good. Service was good at both bars and a much more laid back atmosphere at
