Beautiful trail. Absolutely worth visiting if you’re in the area!
Absolutely beautiful and I was so jealous of the people who had the properties all along the opposite side on the river they for the most part we’re all very well groomed beautiful with all sorts of additional features. I wish I was related to anyone of them. It was super easy I seen plenty of wildlife, including deer, and a crane. Green and peaceful and the running water was absolutely awesome.
Great bike ride. Pretty easy. Views are great! You ride through a park so if you wanted to stop and have lunch or let the kids play- it would be perfect! It was right along the river. We seen deer too!
I had such a lovely walk on this trail. I highly recommend it.
Always a great place to get out and walk around and chill , but be alert cause u never know what you might run into. BIG LONG RED RACER OR SOME KIND BULL SNAKE . DANG NEAR RAN INTO IT WALKING ONE DAY..
Nice walk by the river! :) There was a decent amount of shade. There were also spots to stop and stick your feet in or go swimming. Not a very strenuous walk, so if you want a hiking trail I would go somewhere else.
Mostly peaceful along the river side. Alot if shade. Walkers, bikers, and pet friendly. Please pick up after your pets. If you have children watch them closely. Not fencing or safety rails between trail and river side. They'd roll right in if not careful.

Great 1.5 mile hike on the Royal Gorge Overlook Loop with just as good of views of the Royal Gorge as the park without the cost. The most scenic hike I've been on.
