This place is fantastic! A great selection of art and some great historical exhibits. We were surprised that is free to enter! They have a restaurant inside, along with spirits and cocktails for sale. They offer pottery classes, and they have an event area. You can also walk around outside and see the lawn art. This is located in a historical part of Little Rock, so be sure to look around and see all of the fabulous architecture. 😄

The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts is an absolute treasure! I'm enamored with their outstanding works on paper collection and the impeccable craft collection. The cultural living room is a breathtaking sanctuary, inviting you to immerse yourself in art and culture. What sets this museum apart is its commitment to the community; there are frequent, enjoyable events that foster a sense of togetherness and appreciation for the arts. Whether you're an art enthusiast or just seeking a memorable experience, this museum has it all – beauty, culture, and a vibrant community spirit. Don't miss out!

I absolutely loved this museum! It has been remodeled with a new addition but I, unfortunately, can't remember the original building. I think I came here 7-8 years ago maybe but the new place is incredible! Each gallery is world class and very well curated. It has wonderful traveling exhibits. I still remember the exhibit from 7 years ago and I felt we were very lucky to see it. There appears to be an art school here too and I've never seen that in a museum- or rather, never noticed? I visited the art school here and it's very interesting. I haven't looked into classes but that's really cool to see that. The classes were all in one area and it seemed like a lot of classrooms. Several, I believe, each for something different. I cannot wait to visit again!

Such a beautiful museum, inside and out! This was our last stop on our trip to Little Rock and so glad we stopped in. The architecture is phenomenal and it’s not a massive collection so great for bringing kids or if you’re like me and get overwhelmed by exceptionally large museum collections.

My wife and I spontaneously decided to stop here while we were in town and we're so glad we did! This museum has apparently been completely remodeled and while I never saw the original museum, I greatly enjoyed this one. Every staff member we spoke to was incredibly friendly and actually seemed excited to answer our questions and tell us about things. They had a "treasure map" for us to follow artwork to artwork to write down answers that, if answered correctly, resulted in a gift of a voucher for a free scoop of ice cream for a small ice cream shop down the road!

This museum wowed me! Easily the best free museum I've visited. Both the permanent collection and current exhibits were very thoughtful and impressive. There is a quiet bar on the top floor that would be great for remote work as well.

I didn’t expect to see so modest and perfect design of interior. Compositions is various too and I can recommend to visit the gallery #2 and #3. They are represented American and European masterpieces (two of them by Clode Nonet, coupl s of C. Pissarro, Seurat and Degas). Also so many people and funds are supporting this beautiful museum.

As a person that attended classes at the old art center, I must say that the mere architecture of the new facility is nothing less than beautiful. But then I saw the Lovell exhibit. It had me on the verge of tears the entire time. IT IS A MUST SEE!!! I may go again before it leaves.
