Outstanding museum. Great if you’re an avid aviation enthusiast. You can walk right up to all the planes on display and really look into them and see the small details you normally can’t see when the aircraft are behind ropes. I really enjoyed looking at the hinge mechanisms on all the naval aircraft. The folding wing hardware has always fascinated me. You are encouraged by the staff to walk out into the restoration hangar and can go inside and crawl around in the bomber in there. Additionally you can go out onto the ramp and look at the aircraft out there as well.

The collection of historic planes cover over 100 years of aviation. Airbase Arizona has been serving the community for over 44 years and hosts the worlds largest collection of historic planes. Besides the memorabilia on display, the museum gives rides in these planes and tours throughout the country. Thank you to docent Ted Lindseth for leading us through aviation history with your stories and vast knowledge.

They have an amazing collection of military airplanes and helicopters from WW1 to the Vietnam War. Some of them including the B-17, B-25 bombers, SNJ and Stearman trainers and the C-47 and C-45 transports you can purchase a flight in. There are a couple of aircraft you that you can sit in the cockpit, with a tour guide escort. Including their exhibits it’s a good collection that will take a half day to see it all.

Right by Falcon Field. this is a must-go-to place if you're an aviation enthusiast like me! Plenty of airplanes and this place is home to a b-17! WW1 and WW2 planes have a special place always! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable on the planes.

A must see for anyone interested in aviation or military history visiting the Phoenix area. The aircraft on exhibit range from WW1 biplanes to Vietnam era jets and WW2 era flightworthy warbirds (including tours inside some of the aircraft). They also have an interesting collection of memorablia including artifacts from the Flying Tigers and a painting signed by Franz Stigler depicting his sparing of the crew of a damaged B-17. Plan to spend at least 3+ hours to take in all the exhibits, read the displays and talk to the volunteers (who are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable).

Amazing museum, must see for any military aviation buff. Very friendly and knowledgeable docents. Plan on spending 3-4 hours to fully take in everything. Got to see the inside of the B-17 Sentimental Journey.

Amazing place to take the family, friends kids, grandparents etc. They do offer active/retired military member discounts here. Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved hearing about the history of engines and airplanes. Will definitely go back again. There is a lot to see, take your time and be sure to check it all out. If you need help just be sure to ask someone. They will be happy to assist.
