Arena RV Park - Featured Reviews (125)
This is a GREAT little RV park. It has no frills but it has clean bathrooms, showers and laundry. It is walking distance to a fantasia Indian food restaurant as well as little markets, Starbucks and several fast food joints. It is quiet and the residents are friendly. The couple who runs is is friendly and responsive. We extended our stay cuz it was so charming and peaceful. There is a train that comes thru from time to time but not loud. Had the AC on anyway so did not hear it.
Very small and quiet. Everyone was beyond nice and they all take care of their little community. Most of them have been there for years but treated me like I was one of the crew from the minute we pulled in. Much love to Mrs. Anne, Terry and the gentleman with the little gray dog. They welcomed us and had great conversation everyday. And to Mrs. Barbra who was working tirelessly to keeps the grounds beautiful and to the front desk for being welcoming and flexible while our truck was getting fixed.
Chowchilla’s little Gem.
Chowchilla’s Gem Arena RV park. I highly recommend staying at this RV park. It’s a beautiful RV park the host are very friendly. The place is extremely clean. You’re right next-door to restaurants and convenient stores. There’s a shopping center just down the street. It’s right off of 99 and dog friendly. I really really recommend this to anybody who’s looking for a place to stay in central California to stay here. The Kingsley’s
Friendly staff, clean area, clean restroom, clean laundry room, Quiet, no kids running around. Walking distance to places to eat.
We had a change of plans and were looking for a campground that could be our base to go to Yosemite, Pinnacles and Sequoia/King Canyons. We chose Arena RV and we loved it! The hosts were amazing. The bathroom and laundry facility very clean. You can walk to fast food restaurants and convenience stores. The spot we got was surrounded by trees that provided shade. I recommend them.
I have worked across the United States with my job and always stay in my RV while away from home working. I have stayed in a lot of RV parks along the way, not all of them were that great.
I have been here at Arena RV Park since February of 2022 and will be for another 6 to 8 months. I have to honestly say that it has been an absolute pleasure to stay here.
It is directly off of Hwy 99 in Chowchilla so it convenient for travels to pull into to for an overnight stay. With that said, for being close to Hwy 99 as it is you would think you would hear a lot of traffic noise. If you are outside you will hear some but in while in your RV you hear nothing. There is a train track near so you will hear the train but it only passes a couple of times a day so it's no big deal.
The shower house/bathrooms are clean and well kept as is the laundry room. The only draw back to the laundry room is no change machine so you will have to go elsewhere to get change before doing laundry.
The mangers are very friendly and helpful as well as everyone that I met here.
I would highly recommend this RV park if you will be working in the area, in the area for a few days or even if just travelling through.
The management are wonderful. Very accommodating. The park has well established trees and landscaping. Other reviews mention train noise. I stayed 8 nights and the trains were not a problem. The laundry room, bathrooms and showers are older but very adequate. This is my first experience with this park and is a keeper. Stayed at other parks in the area and this park is much more budget friendly. This park will be my go to park in the future when staying in the area. I had a water and electric only. It was not a problem using the multiple dump stations during my stay.
Great management, communication, and an RV park that covers all basic needs! We have stayed for 3 months now and have had no problems here! Close to everything central California has to offer and near the Highway! Bathrooms and showers are clean, people are friendly. By the train tracks so expect to hear that occasionally. Might bother you if you are a light sleeper but it’s also something you get used to!
(Stay began 21SEP23) We wound up here because the other RV park in town lost our reservation, and after seeing that park we opted for The Lakes. It was just what you would expect from a 'resort', except the rules were not strictly enforced. Everyt
Really nice atmosphere. Great place for any occasion. No beer on tap but the food and cocktails are high quality. Football season it can be busy on Sundays but thereâs almost always a place to sit. The service is great.
