Hands down the best restaurant in this region, and my most favorite place for a dinner experience anywhere. The level of professional execution here is genuinely impressive and exciting, with pricing that would easily be double the price if it were located in Chicago. Not only do they have well-made, creative, quality, shareable entrees and desserts you would never think to cook on your own, with ingredients that can’t possibly be of higher quality (evident in how it presents and tastes), they also have a top-tier bakery that is a force multiplier to this restaurant’s ability to impress and delight. The third pillar to their successful formula is their drink menu — even the alcohol free mixed drinks will impress and are well thought out. I’m completely hooked on “The 101 Club” non-alcoholic drink (I have a dietary restriction against alcohol and this is the one place I still look forward to a mixed drink from every time) Try them out. They are the regional authority on incredibly well-made meals, baked goods, and drinks in my opinion. I drive from almost an hour away just to come here again and again, and when my wife offered to set up a dinner for my birthday, there was no question this would be the place for it. This place was absolutely amazing inside, smelled great and beautiful old wood. They had delicious pastries and coffee and all sorts of other goods. We were able to watch as they rolled more dough and made food for the guests. It would be five stars but the food is very expensive. Quality is high but it's a little over what is justifiable.

Some of the best most unique dishes I've ever had. Cant wait to back. Had both dinner and breakfast there the next morning and both were fantastic. As you can tell from the picture of the cortado was also perfect.

Great breakfast place in town. Their Almond croissant is the best! I would come again and again for this. Their ordering system was great - easy to order! I ordered the grilled cheese which was amazing. Hash browns was okay! They make their own sourdough bread. Recommend this place for a special occasion as the price is little high.

Did the Ardor After Dark and was super impressed. The ribeye was cook medium with fingerling potatoes and everyone at the table said it was their favorite. Ordered the fish dish which was equally delicious and the shrimp with scallops along with a chicken dish served with squash that was superb. Had the sourdough bread with speck and raspberry jam for an appetizer that was well worth it. Chocolate croissants and cheese Danish for deserts are highly recommended.

Been there for the first time for a Sunday brunch. The food was presented very well, waiter made sure to check on us time to time, was readily available if we needed something. Ambience was good. We ordered a hash brwown, breakfast platter , rosemary milk tea and Maple Pastry toast. I felt food was okayish and little expensive for the quantity.

First time trying after hearing lots of positive reviews, did not disappoint. We got the roasted carrot "curry" with herbs from the Ard sesame crusted bread with house-made butter, tender duck breast with cherries, and carrot cake with currants, caramel, and a refreshing carrot ice cream. I drank a fermented pineapple non-alcoholic cocktail. Everything was delicious, staff was attentive, and I was very impressed with the intentionality of the decor from the beautiful ceramicware to the bustling open kitchen. Our waiter was conscious and receptive when we requested that the music be turned down. Located between Blue Duck and Rhythm Kitchen, this might be the best block in Peoria for high-quality, true-to-the-city dining.

By far one of the best restaurants in Peoria. The atmosphere is simply incredible and the food never disappoints. Would definitely recommend getting a reservation or ordering ahead, as there’s almost always a wait (that’s not a slam on them, they’re just that good!) I also really appreciate that many of their dishes are vegetarian friendly without sacrificing any of the quality or flavor. I can’t sing their praises enough!
