We had a lovely stay at Arden Forest. The location is perfect, about a 10 minute walk to town through a quiet, leafy residential area. The off-street parking was convenient. The grounds were beautiful; I wish we'd had time to spend a few hours relaxing in the garden. Our room was great -very clean with a comfy bed. The shower temperature and pressure were so appreciated after a chilly night of camping just before our visit. We barely interacted with the hosts, which was fine. Overall, a terrific option for Ashland and a great value if you book a few months out. Highly recommended.
The Arden Forest Inn is a beautiful inn that is close to the theaters (about 15 minute walk) yet far enough away to be a peaceful retreat. The room I had was spacious, spotlessly clean and furnished in tasteful antique decor. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom updated and well maintained. A shared kitchen had the expected amenities: Keurig, fridge, microwave and sink. Nice not to have a buzzy refrigerator in my room! The garden in back is spectacular and includes a circular seating area. There is also a picnic table on a covered porch and outdoor pool. The innkeepers are friendly, eager to help inform about the theater scene, and unobtrusive. I am looking forward to visiting Ashland and staying at Arden Forest Inn each time.
We've been coming here for years and, as the hosts have transitioned from a full-service bed and breakfast to Traveller's Accommodations (and lowered their prices) we were curious to see what it would be like this year. The garden is still lovely and peaceful (with a family of wild deer frequently in residence), the hosts are friendly and welcoming, the room is very charming and comfortable, although there isn't a lot of room to hang up and put away clothes (so if you're staying for a week with a large and varied wardrobe you might be challenged). There is a guest kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, tea bags, and plates and utensils, so it's easy to make your own simple breakfast. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the center of town for restaurants, shopping and theatre.
My boyfriend and I had a delight stay Fabulous stay at Arden Forest Inn! This B&B is located close to town, & in a very nice location. This beautiful home is very tastefully decorated, and very clean. The grounds are well maintained. We felt like we were invited guests staying here. Our room was lovely, and our bed very comfortable. Our hosts, William & Corbet made us a delicious home cooked breakfast, and catered to my dietary request (vegan) thank you! We look forward to our next stay here, and will highly recommend to family & friends!
Arden Forest Inn has an excellent location in Ashland - close enough to downtown and Oregon Shakespeare Festival to walk, and far enough away to be private and quiet. Our room was nice, with a comfortable bed, full bathroom, and enough space for us. Breakfasts are a highlight - William and Corbett provide excellent food and conversation about theater and other topics. There's a shared kitchen for guests; we only used the refrigerator but it's a nice convenience. We plan to book again!
If you are going to Southern Oregon for a vacation, for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, or to contemplate future life choices, this is the home away from home you want to stay at. |The house and grounds look like a magical fairy tale cottage. The hosts of the inn are friendly, helpful, creative, and make some of the most delectable breakfasts you will ever eat. |I could go on and on about how enchanting Arden Forest Inn is, but it's better experienced in person.
We spent two days at Arden Forest Inn. It was delightful in every way! The property is beautiful and the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The bed provided top notch comfort. We loved both Bill and Corbett and had interesting discussions with them at breakfast. The breakfasts were outstanding! No scrambled eggs and toast at Arden Forest Inn. Instead absolutely incredible gourmet presentation. The Inn is within walking distance from town and located in a very nice, safe neighborhood. ||||The grounds and pool were perfect. We spent an entire day just enjoying the pool and beautiful Zen like environment. We would never think of staying anywhere else in Ashland. We were on our way to Washington when we stayed there and we will be making another trip from San Francisco to Ashland just to experience another peaceful weekend and to see William and Corbett.
Quaint rooms and beautiful grounds. Wonderful breakfasts with great conversations. Seven minute walk to OSF theaters. Starting in 2034, though, breakfasts come to an end, but restaurants are just minutes away.
We had a great time! The theme and puzzles were entertaining and just the right amount of challenging. Thanks Eden for being the perfect âbar tenderâ host!
Drop everything and get to Ashland ASAP to dine at MÃS. I am a food inspired traveler, and have spent the past 10 years of my life exploring every corner of the USA and the world for the best dining experiences. I have dined at many 1, 2, and 3 Mich
Exceeded my expectations!! I came for an artist retreat and got so much more! Jacqui and Billy were wonderful hostesses. Jacqui accommodated every single need from planning amazing art activities, delicious local restaurants, beautifully appointed
This theater is incredible. There's not a bad seat in the house. It's worth every penny to see shows here. We are seeing The Three Muskateers and it's a true gem. Wine and beer, popcorn and cookies are all sold inside and can be taken to your seat.
I had such a lovely experience!! This was my second time coming in, and I brought my grandma with me. She visited from Portland, and I wanted to do something special with herâ¦.tea time! We had the complete queenâs service with the gorgeous tiered
