This place is nice, my first impression Has been a positive one. The coffee is tasty and the food was too. The service here was cool the girls were respectful and funny that's always a plus. Great atmosphere too I'm sure folks would love this spot.
Nice, cozy pastry shop. They have a variety of pastries, cake etc.
Best pastry shop. I love every pastry. It is so fresh and tasty. It is the one you cannot miss. My friend and I had a beautiful morning at Arcos. The latte coffee are also good. The price is good, much cheaper than NYC.
I've been living in Kearny for 3 years now and have being coming to this bakery since. I come here 1 or 2 a week. To get my breakfast. The service is slow but I like to support all the local shops in the area, and it's nice to sit by the window some mornings with my breakfast.
I had a bad experience today that has turned me off to this place.
I came in to order my breakfast to go, and there were 2 people in front of me, and later one man joined the line behind me.
I notice one of the girls starts taking the order of the man behind me and starts preparing it. Even tho I had been waiting now several mins to order.
The line clears in front of me, and no one is still taking my order. Then they proceed to take his coffee order, prepare it, and then he steps in front of me to pay.
I ask why is he being served before me if I have been here before him and have being waiting for a while. She waves it off and says in Portugese to the man 'Don't worry about it, it's just espresso.'
Meanwhile she had toasted a pastry for him and made him an espresso.
Now, like I said, I've been coming to this Cafe for 3 years, and I'm sure this man has been coming for many years as well. But that is not the point. You should treat all customers, regardless of how long they've been coming with respect and courtesy. And whoever is in line first, should be given priority. Period. And because of that, I will not be returning. There are plenty of coffee shops in the area, I'll take nu business where it is appreciated.
Very Good Food & Customer is EXCELLENT by Cristian & Natalia
Good Pastry, and the coffee is fresh and good. 👌 also prices are very good.
Clean place to eat there I definitely recommend and I'm looking forward to come back.
Great place, great service, great food. The attendant are kind. Large variety of desserts. Good coffee. They serve meals as well, but we were there for breakfast. The prices are fair.
I ordered the seafood rice and Arcos salad. SPECTACULAR food, and pastel dé natas which are my favorite! Also, I've never heard of a sweet croissant. They also sell the traditional French croissant. They bring the cappuccinos right to your table!
Nice place, good service, fresh Portuguese baked goods, good price, tables inside and out, sweet or savory, doesn't disappoint.
Such a cute little spot, especially on a pretty day! Enjoyed lunch here with my husband. We came for the first time and chose to sit in the back patio area. The space was colorful and bright with lots of flowers. I liked that there were plenty of um
Nice place. We came out smelling like we were working in the kitchen. Be ready to cook and serve yourself. Great experience. The food was delicious. The server was great. Nice hardworking guy who attends UD. I forgot his name. We will be back.
Natalie was great! She gave us good recommendations, made our food fresh, and asked if we needed anything. The food was tasty, good price, and nice location.
