Archway - Hotel in Philadelphia - 1511 Frankford Ave, USA

I stayed at Archway a couple of years ago during Covid for my birthday. I had dinner at Suraya which is literally across the street. The room was certainly aesthetically pleasing and I appreciated all of the detail. I especially loved the bathroom. I absolutely loved the shower with the Aseop amenities. That was the icing on the cake for me!

Location is great - lots of restaurants, felt safe, walkable and close to mass transit. The room was great. Beds were super comfortable, the room was quiet, and had all the amenities you would need: plates, utensils, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, etc. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for one really annoying issue. When we arrived onsite at 7pm our building code wasn't working. The only contact information I had was an 800 number that said "text only" and an email address. I texted the 800 number but did not receive an immediate response so I called and was able to get a hold of someone. After numerous attempts with different codes he was able to get our original code working. Overall we were standing outside in the cold for about 15 minutes which is not what you want to be doing after travelling all day. Then, once we get up to the room our door code wasn't working either. This required another call back. Fortunately it only took about 5 minutes of us standing in the hallway for them to get a working code. Our codes worked fine for the rest of our stay except for on the last day our entry code stopped working before checkout (our suite door code continue to work).

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and it was absolutely perfect. There is not a single detail that is overlooked. The design is beautiful, the amenities are thoughtful and the beds?! SO COMFORTABLE. Contactless check in was a breeze and the staff was so accommodating. If you’re searching for a boutique hotel within philadelphia, I cannot recommend Archway enough.

Stayed here the weekend of my wedding and the room was absolutely stunning and the communication from staff was great! The room had such a beautiful aesthetic for my getting ready photos. Can't recommend the Archway enough!!

The rooms are nice, spacious, and exactly as shown on the website but the customer service is not good. They will charge you an extra $8 to replace a single towel or $33 to replace all of them. The price is also MUCH higher than listed obviously on Google with quite a lot of extra fees. The location is great visually but walking around it smelled like trash everywhere. Maybe that's just normal in a big city, idk. It was incredibly noisy sometimes in the middle of the night. Busy area. Their customer service people really didn't know what they were talking about at all. I asked if there was a dryer and they told me no and then called back the next day to tell me there actually is a dryer but it's difficult to use and they had to send me a PDF to figure out how to use it. They also didn't send me check in info and I had to call them to get it sent over. The ID verification online is a giant pain. It's glitchy and took me 20 minutes. For how much it cost, not really worth it.

This hotel is modern, completely outfitted with every imaginable kitchen necessity, and sleek yet comfortable. We felt compelled to stay in and enjoy the space, and ordered take-out to eat within the beautiful atmosphere that uniquely featured an awesome dining table hanging from the ceiling. It was a great stay in an even greater hotel. Highly recommend it to experience a new, convenient automated check-in/check-out system and a cozy room that felt like a piece of art.

The Archway is an incredibly beautiful hotel with modern and elegant interior design. My room was exceptionally clean. I felt so relaxed sinking to the bed at night! The staff (offsite, contacted via text) were helpful and responded quickly to messages. There were a number of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I highly recommend staying at The Archway for your next getaway!

We had an amazing stay at Archway. We arrived on Saturday and the room was cozy and well designed they thought about all the small details! We enjoyed the coffee in the morning and the great view from our room. The property is located in the heart of Fishtown and there are great restaurants and bars within a short walk. We will definitely come back here!!
