The cutest ice cream shop I have ever been in! They have an incredible table that's on a swing. You can sit at it with up to four adults and enjoy your ice cream while swinging! They also have the sweet single carousel ride for youngsters. Local photography is featured in one of their rooms and is available for purchase! The ice cream was delicious! I ordered the honey vanilla lavender and my husband ordered the cookies and cream. Will ate his entire waffle bowl... pictured! Lol I REALLY enjoyed mine too! It was the perfect spot for dessert!!
Fantastic local ice cream shop! The flavors are so good and none come off as artificial. I got the honey lavender and the lemon poppy and the flavor combo was perfect. My wife got the cookies and cream and chocolate. She said the cookies and cream was sweet and the chocolate was very chocolatie (spelling?) The young lady working was very friendly as well. I'd come back for more!
Unique handmade and very tasty ice cream. Wonderful location and atmosphere. Two rare and unique Dentzel rides, the Tower of Giraffes Balançoire and a coin operated galloping bunny, also live at the Arcata Scoop.
This place...HANDS DOWN my favorite place to get icecream in ALL of Humboldt county. Super friendly staff, a cozy, fun atmosphere, and super delicious and creamy icecream with rotating flavors! They have some good options for those with dietary restrictions as well, like using coconut milk instead of regular cream/milk. You can freely sample before you get anything, and can even take a pint home with you for later!
My absolute favorite is their cookies & cream ❤ The secret...? They use Newman-O's in their cookies and cream!
This is some really fine, home made, artisanal ice cream. We tried the maple cinnamon and the honey vanilla with lavender. Both were smooth, creamy, flavorful and delicious. $4.50 for a single, large scoop.
My one complaint is that the honey vanilla with lavender has piece of lavender still in it. They were nasty to bite into. They should have been strained out.
They have very good flavors here and you can get a taste before you order. I couldn't decide between two orders so he gave me two smaller scoops of each flavor. Also recommend the house made waffle cone. The guy that served us we awesome. Once we got out scoops, we made our way to the giraffe swinging table.
The scoop is my absolute favorite place to get ice cream! They seriously have the best ice cream I've ever had. It's consistently delicious every time with unique flavors. Whenever talking about ice cream with others, I always mention the scoop!
Legit delicious. Loved the olive oil ice cream. Such a uniquely mellow flavor being not too sweet. Perfectly refreshing. The waffle cone bowl was great too!
I really appreciated the opportunity to immerse myself in this 200 hour yoga teacher training. It provided an opportunity to disconnect from work and dive into the content. The yoga instruction and approach of this training was exactly what I hoped f
Perfect place for lunch! The best food. The best homemade tortillas! Wow! Yum! Burritos are huge! They are awesome if you have special orders (like no dairy). My order is always perfect!
Super beautiful park, literally a 5-10 minute walk from Cal-Poly Humboldt. Whoever maintains these trails is doing great, however it is a little stinky right now. Not sure why. Anyway, I love taking my dog here, there's also a super cute skate park/p
Our airbnb host recommended this place because we asked for local food spots and he delivered! We love creperies and this place was the bee's knees. My fiance got the artichoke heart-filled "Got Yer Goat" and I got "Amber Rose." Mine was a safe choic
We were in the redwoods for over a week up here in Humboldt county and this was the first place we came because itâs so easily accessible from the street! So glad we did! A great way to start being blown away by giant trees and get in a hike withou
Beautiful stay. We rented the "Resting Light Lodge" with our daughter. We all enjoyed the beautiful outdoor baths and the local cafes. Our lodging was clean and well supplied with everything we needed as well as some special extras (fresh eggs, fench
Ramone's has some great baked goods and patisserie items. I got the chocolate decadence torte and my wife got the caramel nut tart. The chocolate torte is essentially a base of ganache with a thin raspberry layer then a shell of chocolate over. Absol

My husband and I visited Slice of Humboldt Pie at the end of August. The atmosphere was great! Plenty of indoor and a outdoor seating. We went for dessert - I had the Lemon Raspberry Pie and my husband had the Peanut Butter Fudge! It was AMAZING!! We
Honestly, its delicious. Best fries I've ever had. Best beer batter ever! It's busy and you will wait, but your find is hot, fresh and amazing. Worth every minute.
