arc Thrift Stores - Thrift store in Lakewood - 7677 W Jewell Ave, USA

I've always been suspicious about the lack of 50% off colors throughout the week at this store and yesterday (1/15 - Monday) I found a young man who works there pulling ALL of the color for the week (white) from the jeans. He had a cart FULL of just that color. I won't be going back. This is not a good way to save money for yourselves and it's certainly not encouraging the consumer to spend more at your store.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had in an arc in my life. I am not kidding you. No one was by the dressing rooms, so I waited, and nobody came, so I went into one. I proceeded to leave my clothes in the basket and only take five items into the dressing room. When I went to trade out those five items, all of my clothes were gone. Somebody workers had gone to my car and put them all back, not even on the rack they literally put him back in the store wherever they came from. So I asked a worker for help and she think are you sure they're not hanging out the record of like I'm sure somebody did that and I was like okay I just got off of work I came to the arc because I don't live anywhere near where I'm at and I wanted something kind of cheap and nice. Instead, I got all of the clothes I picked out taken for me it was horrible, embarrassing, and not right. Well when I was picking up new clothes to get I overheard the workers laughing well maybe you shouldn't take that many items into your Jasmine maybe you shouldn't have that many items in your cart and I was like thinking to myself and experienced person go through the yard will take their time and grab a bunch of stuff through each one of the aisles because there's so many different things that you look at everything so your car might fill up but you might not fit in everything hence dressing rooms. So I had told the worker when I was checking out and she goes do you want to talk to the manager and I go I don't even know what good it would do everything else is like it's not going good so I don't know she's like I would be mad so I think you should. So she calls the supervisor up there the supervisor does not come whatsoever I'm sitting there for a good 5 minutes she had helped two other people while I'm sitting there waiting and she's literally after she finishing helping those people she come back to bless the manager right there the lady was just chatting with one other coworker and one other person the whole time. And I realized at the time who it was I know that was the one who said maybe you shouldn't take all that stuff in there maybe you shouldn't have your cart like that and was laughing so loud because the one girl said why is that girl crying and then she went well because I put all her stuff back. It was definitely one of the worst experiences, as well as the most embarrassing experience, you could have ever imagined I don't ever want to go there again the only reason I bought something because I absolutely needed it otherwise I would never have gone and gotten something there. It was that degrading it made me feel like I was nothing and that they assumed I was a thief or they assumed I was not paying or just thought they were better than me. I am not a terrible person, and i definitely had no intention to do them wrong. I actually just got off of work. I wanted something clean to wear to go to my friend's baby shower, that's all. The truth is no one knows anyone's backstory so for her to do that that was so wrong and I don't like to leave reviews unless something along those lines really does happen and that was terrible her name was SAMANDA that was the manager. If you happen to come across there at this specific ARC, that is the manager's name that made me cry and terrorize me. PLEASE be careful because the worker who told me said she's an immature B*TCH and has no clue how she could be a supervisor. She said she was a mean person to people she suspected to be doing something wrong,and I said, "How does she just know that?" I didn't do anything wrong. I actually bought everything I got she just assumed because she was a manager, she said some people are the workers were scared to approach her because they didn't know what their punishment would be they would get the grunt work or she was just nasty they said she was a nasty supervisor and a nasty person to the people that came in I felt that truly.

Older lady who works in women's clothes by the dressing room absolutely hates her job. She has muttered nothing but nasty things about the customers the whole time I've been here..calling customers.."lazy, stupid, dumb, slobs"...I hope some day she'll be doing something that brings her joy...it's really quite sad...she should not work here on the floor where customers are at if she hates us soo much.. it is not professional at all...she should save that for the break room....What happened to customer service??

Clean, organized. The store smells good, everything is clean, staff very nice.

One of my top three favorite Arc stores to visit. They have a great selection for clothes, kitchen things, and furniture.

Big 5 stars because of Arc employee CURTIS excellent customer service !!! On this saturday the store was slammed and they were short handed so I offered my help to an elderly lady (80's) with a piece of furniture to her car. Of course it wouldn't fit and it was blistering hot outside. The woman was distraught because she felt she had landed the best deal ever on this discounted find- returning it would have been a crushing blow. Curtis came out to assess the situation. We tried several different ways to get this piece into her car. Eventually, Curtis was able to use his drill to take off two pieces and WALAH, the furniture slipped into the car easily. CURTIS was professional - so calm, never gave up, not pushy, and you would have never known the craziness that was going on in the store or the hot weather making him sweat. The elderly woman was so very delighted with CURTIS. He really made her day. Thank you CURTIS for your top notch customer service.

The store is OK, however could use a little more merchandise. The bathrooms are clean.

It's a great store very spacious but recently they changed how there plus size clothes are put out. Now it's all integrated with the other women's items which takes a lot longer to look through now. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
