Arastradero Preserve Loop Vista Point - Hiking area in Palo Alto - Arastradero Creek Trail, USA

An open preserve with amazing views, and green pastures during the winter. try and go there when the skies are clear and you can see the Oakland bridge and most of the bay from up here. Friendly for dog walkers, mountain bikers and short strolls. Parking can be scarce as it’s quite popular, there is some space for street parking. Watch out for all the horse poop along the trail.

Great hiking and running trails. Biking is allowed too. An abundance of wildlife too.

Great spot to bring your dog on a hike! They have a doggie water fountain and restrooms by the parking lot. This is on-leash only to avoid any incidents with frequent horseback riders passing by.

Quiet trail, but the grass is all burnt and dry. The scenery got boring after a while

Incredible place to visit, I visited many times, but this time, with my son, his first time. We was really happy and enjoyed a lot.

Great place for a short mountain bike tour, about 1 hour . Not technical, but great views, some steep uphills, very doable for beginners. Watch out for pedestrians! Very busy park, parking lot is often full, option to park at PageMill Park & Ride and bike to the park.

Park hours: 8AM to sunset. More of a nature walk than an hike Beware of ticks, poison oak and rattlesnakes. No drones allowed.
