What a neat community story. Removing a lake to try and restore a high value cold water stream. The brought Native Brook Trout from the Poconos and put them in the creek to try and reestablish a population. It is having its trials, probably due to Blue Heron and lack of mature tree cover. But hopefully it will take. FYI No Fishing!! There are only very few fish left.
This park is a hidden jewel. Perfect for a quick walk or a longer “hike”. There is a paved walkway for those who prefer not to be off the beaten path. If you want to explore there is plenty to see. Wood chip paths and a nice wooded trail that takes you up the side of a hill. The views are beautiful even in the winter. The creek that runs through is crystal clear and always flowing strong. Then you come upon the spring and the the waterfall. The water is so clear with beautiful greens and blues that make you feel like you’re at an exotic island, not off York Road in Buckingham. Unplug and get some fresh air, this park is more than worth it.
Great park for a walk in the New Hope area. Parking on-site. Nice little trails along a pretty creek and a waterfall to enjoy year round.
Only negative is no restrooms on-site.

A nice small park with well kept trails. The trails are a combination of grass, wood chips, asphalt and dirt. Interesting history and well marked trails. There are benches scattered throughout the park and a few picnic tables. No restroom or trash cans. I'd like to see less invasive plants but I'm hoping they will work on that. The waterfall is small but pretty and I look forward to visiting in the Spring.
Beautiful spring and small waterfall, l was truly amazed! Looks like a image on postcards! Also the hiking trail in the back of the property away from York Rd is in the woods and shaded, perfect for walking my little dog in a hot day! Only issue l have with this park is the absence of trash can. So if you come with your furry buddy, plan to take the 💩with you when leave.
Crystal clear water in the spring. The waterfall is about 6 feet high and 4 feet wide with a walkway across it. Nice, relaxing place. The park is smaller than we expect, but still nice .
I went on a Friday from 10-1230, almost had the whole place to myself. The trails are easy and if you want to go straight to spring you can from the parking lot.
