Aquarius Oceanfront Inn - Motel in Wildwood - 4712 Ocean Ave, USA

The facilities were clean and more than adequate with a hardworking, friendly staff. Within view of the beach and walkable to Wildwood and Wildwood Crest attractions and restaurants. Recommend for a family getaway. Lovely clean pool for swimming and coffee available in the office in the mornings with a smile. Parking free and convenient for guests.

I just returned from staying 5 nights at the Aquarius Oceanfront Inn. The hotel is family owned and operated. Annette, Debbie and Tony are the perfect hosts. They are welcoming, attend to your every need, providing the best service. The location was perfect for us, across from the boardwalk and the convention center. Our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The pool was great and they have three grills. We couldn’t ask for anything more. We will certainly stay here again for future Wildwood visits.

WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! If I could have given them zero stars I absolutely would. This was the absolute most disgusting place I have ever stayed. The staff was rude and unhelpful and claim that they’ve never had a bad complaint which I know is not true. We had a 20 hour drive here and when we checked in went straight to sleep(after checking for bed bugs) because this place was filthy. We were supposed to stay here more than one night and left immediately when we got up. There were already used towels in our room, mold in the shower and along the floor boards, the place hadn’t been swept or mopped in ages there was hair clumped up everywhere. The rugs smelled moldy because there was a leaking air conditioner in one of the windows it was a complete nightmare I am so disappointed. Called today to check on a refund and they pretty much told me I was a liar and they don’t get complaints their rooms are spotless, and if I had such a problem why didn’t I bring it up the previous night, after our 20 hour drive with no other place to stay we didn’t have any other option! I also have pictures of everything but they did not care, I emailed the pictures.

I HIGHLY Recommend Aquarius !! The Owners are very accomidating, rooms are very clean. We had actually stayed in another place for a few years It had gotten very dirty under a new establishment, so of course that’s one of our biggest concerns, Our suite was SPOTLESS.. we will continue to stay every year..

Horrible experience over all the room was dirty and had mold on the shower head and in the tub. Hair on the floor that wasn’t from us the microwave and stove were dirty the only reason we stayed was because we just had drove 16 plus hours and needed to rest and when confronted the staff was rude and hung up on my wife not even trying to hear our side of the story would not recommend I would give this place a zero if it was possible also have photos but this must happen a lot so they block the add photos for your review.

This was our second straight stay at the lovely Aquarius in Wildwood. We had so much fun the last time we were here that we didn't want to look at any place else. It's literally the perfect location and has every amenity that my family and I need while down on the Shore. We even invited our good friends and their two daughters to come with us and stay at the Aquarius for their Summer vacation this time around as well! They had the best time! The rooms are always cleaned meticulously and the towels and toiletries are always stocked fresh each day. The AC was doing overtime because we stayed in July when the days were near 100 degrees and the nights barely got into the 80s. The location is PERFECT, right across the street from the famous Wildwoods Beach Ball sign, and a 10 minute walk to the white sandy beach straight ahead, 30 seconds from restaurants and shops, and a 5 minute walk from the 2 mile long Boardwalk. The views are great for people watching too! The pool was cleaned every day, and the common areas outside the rooms were beautiful. My family and I and even more of our friends will surely be coming back down to the Aquarius the next time we do Summer vacay in Wildwood!!!

The lady's at this place couldn't more welcoming and hard working. This is a smaller family owned hotel just across the street from the boardwalk and convention center. Myself and a few friends stayed here last weekend. Annette made everything easy and comforting from booking, to check out. We all were happy this is where we choose to stay. If I decide to spend the night in Wildwood again my first call will be to Aquarius.

I stayed here with my daughter and grandkids for 3 nights.August 13-14-&15.the grandkids are 18 and 15. We loved this place! We stayed in an efficiency on the ground floor one bedroom, two full beds and efficiency living room with a pullout full bed/couch and a dining table. There was a full size refrigerator sink cabinet, dishes, silverware stove , etc. this hotel is immaculate. The staff is so friendly, from the minute, you check in till you’re checking out the door. they are constantly hosing down the area, so there’s no sand or debris in front of the rooms and around the pool. You are a short walk to the boardwalk and next to a mini golf course. There are also little restaurants around the area( mudhen was great). Convention hall is across the street also the great Wildwood sign with beach balls for a photo op. always keep in mind that the wild would beach is very wide, so it is a hike to get down to the water. I know this review is long-winded.But please, if you’re staying here,be considerate of the other guests ( and staff) . Don’t let your young kids run amuck( taking over the pool and splashing other guests) leaving others to ( baby sit your teen/preteen kids)respect the property! Maybe go to the beach. The owners obviously work very very hard to keep this property in beautiful shape and it shows. Just be considerate people. That being said, I will definitely be back. Sidenote I did see guests bringing their own pillows if that’s a thing for you.
