Aqua Beach Hotel - Featured Reviews (819)
We stayed at the condos across the Street Beach Crest room 4004. Tried to see a manager after check out but there was a long line so I asked for the manager's name.. Once I got home I promptly wrote an email with all my concerns and no response. I called the head desk and asked for the manager whose name was Yari. She was very cavalier about the whole situation. Telling me they have nothing to do with the condos we only clean them etc. -- Yet i paid Aqua Beach.||I am very disappointed in this summer’s stay Upon arrival, we noticed that there was no shower curtain in the bathroom. After calling the office, housekeeping brought one up and handed it to my daughter-in-law, who had to hang it. || We found a microwave with chipped paint and rust inside, a gross refrigerator, rusty washer and dryer, and two chairs in the TV area with a strong odor. Additionally, the coffee pot was not cleaned, the hallway outside our room had stained and mildewed carpeting, a hole in the wall, and a window that is falling apart. The condition in the parking garage is also concerning as the outside ceiling tiles are hanging.||Before I go any further, I want to stress we are not new to the condo or hotel. Over the years we have stayed many times at each. |Considering the amount we paid, $900 p/n I expected better accommodations. I asked to be compensated and was told again they have nothing to do with the condos they only clean them. Yari said she forwarded my email to the owner. I asked when I could expect a response and her reply was I don't know. | Furthermore, my husband left his $70 brand new flip-flops behind, and I was told that housekeeping would hold them. I asked for them to be mailed back to my home address I was told there would be a charge - fine I wanted tracking on them bc I did not feel them to be trustworthy after the initial conversation. I have yet to get them and it is over 2-3 weeks. I called today and was transferred to the front desk, then hung up on, called back was put on hold for 5 MINUTES, called back again and was told to call back tomorrow when Yari was back.||To date the owner of the condo has not reached out, the hotel has taken no responsibility nor have returned my flip flops. I asked Yari for the name of the person above her and was told there was no one above her. We are not new to Aqua Beach or the condos and this has really hit a low point. Very disappointed. NEVER AGAIN!
We just came back from a 2 night stay at this hotel. It was our first time staying here. Overall, it was a nice place. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was decent. It was almost right next to the boardwalk and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. We had an awesome view of the ocean. The other guests that stayed here were very nice and respectful. As others have stated, the parking is very tight. Luckily....we have a subcompact car so we were able to squeeze into any space here. If you have a normal size car, parking might be a little more challenging. I would stay here again.
Pros: Great location, pool area had entertainment and a hot tub; friendly and accommodating staff, reasonable rates.||Cons: Some rooms in need of updating, pool area is noisy at night, bedrooms need light-blocking shades, slow elevators.||The Aqua Beach has always been on our radar, and it just so happened it had availability and the kind of room our family needed for a week in July. We will return in the future, but a few minor improvements would be welcome.||When we checked in, we were given a room with two queen beds- not the type with a separate bedroom as we had booked. Too bad, because it had been recently remodeled and looked really nice. We were finally given the room type we had requested, although it was one that was outdated and needed a remodel of its own. Being on the fifth floor, getting there required ridiculous waits for the two overworked elevators servicing the entire complex. At least the staff was easy to work with, even when we needed things like extra pillows and blankets for the kids sleeping on the pull-out sofa.||During the day, we loved the pool area. Most days, a guitar player filled the space with pleasant music, and to date this is the only motel/hotel in The Wildwoods we encountered with a hot tub. Unfortunately, the pool is located in the middle of the buildings that comprise the property and with late hours, our bedroom facing the pool area was filled with the noise of shrieking kids and drunk women until 11 o'clock at night. And even when the noise died down, the cheap vinyl blinds were no match for the bright lights outside the rooms. All night long, it was as if the sun was rising directly outside the window.||With some improvements, this would be as close to perfect a property one could find in Wildwood Crest. Close to the start of the boardwalk and directly on the beach, the room rates seem almost too good to be true for what is a very solid motel.
This review is for BeachCrest Condo # 5002 We were extremely disappointed with several neglectful issues that we wish to bring to the owners attention: 1) The Rusty Patio Furniture . Not only is it rusted there are sharp parts of the chairs protruding out of the seats. We have to use pillows to ensure our 6 children were not harmed and in danger of being cut by rusty metal. 2) The "Mr.Coffee" leaks. There was a flood every morning on the counter. Replacing the coffee machine would be a good idea! 3) The toaster smokes when you try to toast something. 4) There is no water pressure in either bathroom - the water trickles when trying to bathe. This is frustrating 5) There is no can opener, proper pots or pans, there are dull knives … it is hard to cook for family!! 6) There are no shower curtain liners, water from the shower leaks on the floor and get extremely flooded which can cause falls and creates a dangerous environment in general. Water itself can cause HUGE and very expensive issues in the long run. And FYI Shower curtain liners are less than $10.00!!! 7) There is no broom or dustpan in the unit. It is hard to keep the place tidy. We had to hunt someone down and ask for a broom and it took 2 days to get one! The above are not expensive fixes to make a customers stay comfortable. When you own a vacation home that you RENT OUT and it is supposed to be fully furnished the basic amenities should be a given. It should be part of the seasonal refresh to make sure that the basic needs of the unit are in working order. You should want a rental that is making you a significant amount of money to make you proud and provide comfort and happiness to its patrons - not horror!! 8) The couch, the mattress are D I S G U S T I N G !!!!!!!!!!! Also..... 1985 called and they want their TV back!!!!! As for Aqua Beach itself: I believe it was a Wednesday when we were leaving the complex in our car, two HUGE dumpsters were blocking the driveway. That was ridiculous. A safety issue, hazard, you name it. We were trapped. I hope that bringing this to your attention ensures that it does not happen again. I am not sure if it is an issue for the Garbage company or the hotel itself but you can do better.
like many other reviews, this place is a disgrace. i don’t know what happened to this “hotel”. stayed here 2 years in a row with no issues. returned this week and it will ABSOLUTELY BE THE LAST!!! rooms disgusting, and we switched rooms TWICE. every room stunk of marijuana!!! couldn’t find a towel without stains. beds not clean either. |rude people at the desk who really don’t seem to care about making your stay pleasant. hot tub and pool not clean!!! do yourself a huge favor and AVOID this place at all costs, including feeling like we need a tetanus shot. like i said, wayyyyyy downhill from years ago. |i believe they think that because their location is right at the boardwalk entrance that they can not care about the upkeep of their property or caring for their guests. GUESS AGAIN. if i could give ZERO STARS I WOULD. just arrived home and after this review to save others, a much needed shower is next to wash off this place. shame…..
Our family has been staying at the Aqua Beach Resort for 45+ years. Missed a few years here and there but are happy to return. We are low maintenance and also have family members who like to sleep in. That said, the cleaning crew are always accommodating with our needs, supplying us with whatever we need without requiring daily cleaning services. The one thing that is a big of an issue is parking. Spaces are minimal in size and if someone parks over the line the next space is wasted.
The rooms are absolutely beautiful, way more then I expected for the price. The staff as been amazing. Even though there is construction going on it hasn't bothered us one bit. This hotel can be used for a family get away or a romantic get away. Our suite is more like a 1 bedroom apartment and it smells absolutely amazing. The pool is amazing. And the hot tub is perfect. The only complaint I have are the beds. They're old spring mattresses and the pillows are like a piece of paper. Together it makes it hard to sleep. Id suggest bringing a pillow or buying the cheap pillows from Walmart for your stay. They have you endless amounts of wash clothes, towels and toiletries. If only we could sleep just a little bit better.
I booked late and there weren't many places available but I thought we'd give this hotel a try. Never again!! We always stay at a Morey's owned property and I will never stay anywhere else again if this is what you get!! The rooms are so dated and just not nice, the pool, forget it!! Their pool is way too small for the amount of rooms this hotel has. The ONLY good thing about this property is the location. If you're thinking of staying here, don't. Stay at a Morey's owned property such as Port Royal or Pan American, SO clean and you will really enjoy your stay in the Crest!!
Great hotel. Amazing staff and amazing rooms. The cost is what you would expect for the area. The TV in our room could use a major upgrade (it was very small) but not sure how many people watch TV while vacationing.
Stayed last week for the first time at the crusader hotel. Already booked for next year. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and very very helpful. The ladies at the front desk at check in were great! My wife asked for help with luggage do to we are bot
This is seriously amazing food! The most flavorful dining experience we had in Wildwood the week of our vacation there. From the chips and queso dip for starters, to the main course of the pork tacos and steak burrito, to the dessert of a fried and
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blue Marlin. We were greeted warmly by Marion upon check-in and recommended dining in the area. The Motel was immaculately clean from the common areas, rooms and pool. The staff was friendly and welcoming each da
Really tasty vegan (non-dairy) ice cream! They only have one flavor (vanilla) but it had a great creamy texture. They have several toppings that are vegan although only sprinkles can go on top of a cone (as opposed to a cup). The attached picture is
This is a beautiful well- designed venue. The sound system was excellent . The jazz trio was very good but the crowd was sparse. Traditional jazz is not popular with vacationers in Wildwood Crest.
Family owned, professional staff and they treat every guest like family. They are very accommodating and dedicated to making you and your family/friends feel welcomed. Great parking and just overall satisfied every visit. I will recommend them to eve
Visited today, for the first time, to enjoy breakfast and had an excellent experience. The food was fantastic including blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberry and perfectly made French toast. The staff were wonderful too. Our waitress was excell
The food was great and so was the view from the porch! Georgeâs Place offered a really nice lunch and breakfast menu. The waffle was fantastic and the small salads that we ordered with our quesadillas and pita were amazing! The staff were friend
