A very nice park to take the kids to play. They have a large playground, restrooms, and place to walk your dog.
This park is great place for the kids to run and play. They have a pavilion with lots of picnic tables under the shade .great place for parties they also have grills to cook out on. Different play areas for different age ranges. smaller area for the little ones is gated so they can't just run out. Bathrooms are very nice an AC and always clean. They have cameras up pointing at all the different areas so you feel very safe there.
Nice little park with plenty of things for the kids to play and swing on. Covered picnic pavilion. Walking trail. Adequate parking. Restrooms that I've not used so I cannot speak on their condition. But the park is very well maintained.
Very nice since upgrade. Big hard covered picnic area a big clean rest rooms. Lots of swings, slides, and stuff to climb on and around. An old NS caboose and a wooden rail car. Very well maintained, closes at dark.
We love it here its an awesome Park to bring the kids
I've never seen it over crowded. It feels like a very safe place. The bathrooms are nice, permanently built bathrooms, not Porta-Johns.
Updated Park equipment....well maintained! Very convenient location between downtown Appomattox and Appomattox County High School
The park is clean with nice bathrooms! It has four playground, a short loop trail for kids to bike, a caboose, and two sets of swings. The pavilion is nice too. My only complaint is that there isn't much shade on the playgrounds. But great park!
Good time for kids to get out and enjoy the outdoors

This a great National Park. It interprets the history of the area really well. My biggest complaint is that only some of the park is accessible. I understand that there are historic buildings which made it more of a challenge but I have been to other
This is where 4-H holds their shooting competitions. The cabins are outdated and beds uncomfortable but you have everything you need. The staff is very friendly and the grounds are nice.
