Appleford - Event venue in Villanova - 770 Mt Moro Rd, USA

My daughter recently had her wedding at Appleford Estate (Sep 30) and we loved the beauty and versatility of this gorgeous estate. We worked with Lisa McBride who is the director of marketing & events and she was fabulous! Lisa’s responsiveness and attention to detail made the wedding planning so much easier. The estate and gardens are so beautiful that it is hard to capture in pictures but I added just a few of the day. We were all very happy with the choice of Appleford for this Special day!!

My husband and I got married at Appleford this past September and it was an absolute dream. From the beautiful gardens to the well-kept historic home on the grounds, everything was gorgeous and very much enjoyed by our ~100 guests. They raved about this hidden gem of a wedding venue- you kind of feel like you’re in Europe when you wander the maze garden and take in the exterior of the estate. The venue’s coordinator, Lisa, was very communicative from the time we toured to our wedding day (a little less than 2 years out- we had a LDW wedding!). She helped us with the rehearsal of our ceremony and was present throughout our wedding day, overseeing all vendors and working closely with our caterer to ensure the timeline stayed in place. CANNOT recommend Appleford Estate enough for an event venue!! My husband and I just got married here May 26, 2023 and it was one of the best days of our lives. Multiple guests raved that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to! I think the venue's magic stems from the beauty and versatility of the grounds/fieldstone home, and the attentiveness and amazingness of their director, Lisa Mcbride. From touring the venue, to planning the wedding to executing the event, Lisa was always attentive, skilled, and caring in her approach. For example: multiple times I had emailed her non-urgent questions at odd hours of the day or weekend and I'd be shocked to see her respond within 1-2 hours. The day of our rehearsal and wedding, she had the biggest smile and shared in our joy in addition to supporting coordinating all the details. Lisa, like Appleford, is an absolute gem. Forever grateful for choosing Appleford for our wedding and reception. Oh!! Appleford Estate is simply an awesome wedding venue. From a wedding photographers perspective it's nearly perfect. As soon as you pull up and enter the grounds you're immeditley greeted with history and the beautiful scenery. It's makes our jobs as photographer so easy having tons of options for photos but I can only imagine the guest experience. It's one of those venues were you can truly get lost in time and be in the moment with friends and family. We highlight recommend!

Appleford is one of our team's favorite venues! There are SO so many opportunities for gorgeous photos. This venue has it all - history, an arboretum, greenery, gardens, willow trees, and more! We had a little bit of rain on this beautiful July day, but it went away quickly and made for some amazing photos! The ceremony was in front of their willow trees outside! Their reception was filled with twinkling lights outside the stone house under a connected tent! You'll see from our photos all of the different spots you're able to explore, which gives our wedding couples an opportunity for endless photos! We cannot wait to come back here for future weddings!

We got married at Appleford this past Saturday and had the most incredible day imaginable. Lisa was wonderful to work with and her vendor recommendations for photography, music, catering, etc. all turned out to be extraordinary people to work with as well. We knew from the minute we toured the grounds that Appleford was where we wanted to get married. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the property was and what a great time they had. From the moment we drove into the property we knew this was the venue choice for our daughter's late summer wedding (9/16/23). The well-kept gardens, pond, waterfall, towering trees and beautiful historic home are stunning. We had the ceremony on the lawn at the pond, cocktail hour on the patio and dinner with our guests on the beautiful terrace. Our guests gave us so many compliments. They loved touring the property and taking photos. A wedding venue location is so important but what sets the tone for a successful celebration are the people who work there and I can't say enough about Lisa McBride. We started our planning 2 years ago and she was kind, patient, informative and always returned calls/texts/emails in a timely manner. The suggested vendor list Lisa provides is also very helpful during the planning process. Shout out to Sage Catering and DJ Walt Breslin!! I highly recommend Appleford if you're looking for a dreamy enchanted garden style wedding.

Appleford Estate was the most perfect venue for our wedding! When we visited for our tour, we immediately fell in love. From the video and tour led by Lisa, we both became teary eyed and knew we found our place! It had all the charm and magical notes for our special day! From the breathtaking gardens, pond, spots to explore and it being secluded was everything we wanted for our day! Lisa was so helpful and answered all of questions it many questions. She made everything easy to figure out. We had a perfect day, the weather was in the low 80s in mid-August and everything went smoothly. And our photos came out perfect!!! Thank you Appleford Estate for naming our wedding dream come true! I see our anniversary dinner there next year!!!
