Applebee's Grill + Bar - Restaurant in Forked River - 404 S Main St, USA

It's really hard to enjoy a meal with my girlfriend when our drinks are not refilled and plates are left all over our table. I had to stack them myself and still they didn't get the hint. Our waitress never checked up on us. She was too busy hanging out at the bar and chatting with her coworkers. It felt like we were dead to them. It was not even a busy night, especially on a Saturday night.

Meh. My friends chicken sandwich was raw, they replaced it with something different but didn't seem overly concerned about it. The manager made an excuse about oil getting under the breading... The rest of the meal was good. Lighting is non existent, could barely read the menu. It's a shame, this place used to be good. On the plus side, our waitress was top notch! Donuts were spectacular and so were the pretzel sticks! I'd go back for apps and donuts! 😁

I needed more time to pick out what I wanted which took me 5 mins later but our server didn't come back for like another 25 minutes. My friend asked the server for a knife after 3 times but didn't come back with it. They need better buns for the burgers! Although we weren't satisfied with our experience. I would not recommend coming here!

Corinne F. was an outstanding server tonight. She was attentive, asked if we needed something before we needed it and made tonight’s dinner an absolute pleasure. In a world where too many complain, Corinne was a shining star and should be acknowledged!

Will try again. Hope for better next time. Update, tried again and Bacon Cheese Burger onion rings with tangy BBQ sauce was delicious. Service was quick and polite. They did have a leaking roof that was dripping all over the booth we were at and we did have to move after a few drops on our head. Very strange the French onion soup only has Swiss cheese, we really wanted mozzarella or provolone cheese however we were told they do NOT have any provolone or mozzarella cheese in the entire restaurant.

You get what you pay for, Applebee's is just a horrible chain. Slow service when it was pretty empty inside. Did just appetizers the double crunch wings and pretzels with beer cheese were okay. The cheese curds were terrible, the coating was funky do to being fried in dirty oil that altered the taste of it. Never again, Any restaurants that can be found in the freezer aisle of a grocery store is not worth going to.

i have a good experience every time i go to the restaurant, but today we ordered curbside pickup.. for starters, i ordered a sirloin steak, which i had to settle for considering they don’t have ribeye. anyway, they were told TWICE to cook it medium rare.. and i got a well done sirloin. not only that, but there were tomatoes in my girl’s salad which she didn’t want do better scallywags

Good service, good food,not crowded. Great for a quick lunch!
