Applebee's Grill + Bar - Restaurant in South Lake Tahoe - 3987 Lake Tahoe Blvd, USA

This is Denny's but with pricey-er food. Lol. Yes, the wings came to our table looking like this 🤯 Our server was nice but not attentive. The wings were way too salty so I asked to return them. When I explained this to the server, she dismissed me and said, "Oh, you just didn't like them." I did not appreciate not being listened to. They were so salty that they were difficult to eat! Ribs were also salty but tolerable, taste was alright. Wouldn't order them again.

Tasty food n good options n varieties... limited options in happy hours menu, but those are amazing.. friendly staff.. overall good visit... Kiddo got the games tab to play at minimal cost with varieties of games...

we came Christmas Eve right before they closed, as well as the following Tuesday. we were seated pretty quickly on Christmas Eve even though they were about to close, so that was nice! we ordered the artichoke dip, chicken Alfredo, and shrimp and steak. they were all really good. the chicken was tender, the shrimp and steak had a delicious sauce on top. the sides were flavorful and well seasoned. I was surprised by how good the food was. the mashed potatoes were excellent. when we went on Tuesday, it wasn't as good with the food honestly. we ordered the shrimp and chicken and the salmon. the portions were quite small. the sides on the chicken and shrimp were good, but the chicken was overcooked, dry, and a bit burnt. the shrimp was good though. if our second experience was more like the first, it would've been 5 stars. the service was good both times, the servers were all sweet and attentive, but unfortunately the food was inconsistent.

Whoever the chef was on January 5… Slapped! If you go to a restaurant and you want aesthetic if you want beautifully plated food if you want incredibly attentive staff that will listen to all your dietary requirements. Don’t go here. But ironically, this all made the food taste that much better. The food was actually really good. Kudos to the chef again on January 5. We are both gluten-free and our waiter didn’t know that there are labels on the menu marked gluten sensitive. We ended up ordering the wings and the Cajun chicken and the Caesar salad. When the Caesar salad came out. I looked over at my girlfriend and I said that’s the most pathetic looking Caesar salad. I’ve ever seen in my life. But then I tasted it and it was really good. Again, don’t come here for the presentation. Come here for the taste of the food. We also played a nice game together during our stay. We were welcomed. The man who delivered our food was quite nice as well. Thank you Applebee’s.

Restaurant type rapide mais un cran au-dessus des fast-food. Choix plus large que des burgers, même s'il y en a. Menu avec photos, ce qui aide les personnes qui ne parlent pas anglais 😉

I love this location, my second time here the crew is very friendly and professional the food was great and tasty, restaurant very clean and organized. They have pretty good cocktails, we love them. The location is great close by everything there was seven of us and the service was fast. Even to get us a table we didn’t wait too long thank you for the great service

Our Dinner was on Point! My Family and I enjoyed our dinner,we will be back!! The waiter kept our glasses full and food came out in a timely manner..Wonton tacos 🌮 are so good,onion soup 🔥,boneless BBQ wings were so good too..The onion rings were so hot and crispy , To say more Thier lava cake with ice cream made my night complete!! We left full and 😊 ..

We stayed at nearby hotel and I was sick during our vacation, so we decided to do online order at Applebee since all the restaurant was super busy. We ordered 2 for $25 menu and a bowl of soup. My husband picked up at the restaurant after getting a text - around 30-40 mins after ordering since it was a busy night. - Boneless wings: the boneless wings was just okay. They weren't crispy but the meat was tender. - Riblets plate: the riblets were not good! They were more like ribs nugget that were molded into ribs. The meat itself tasted a bit weird (salty & sweet). The french fries that came with it were crispy & not overly salty. - Grilled oriental chicken salad: my husband said it was good. The veggie tasted fresh and the grilled chicken was good perfectly. The dressing was creamy with a hint of sweetness. - Chicken tortilla soup: it was ok. The shredded chicken pieces were decent amount but the soup was too salty for me. It was an okay take out if you are at a busy dinner time and just want to enjoy inside the hotel room.
