Applebee's Grill + Bar - Restaurant in Calhoun - 1008 Hwy 53 SE, USA

Had a wonderful experience at Applebees tonight-huge turn around from my last visit to one probably 10 years ago. Our appetizer was hot and delicious (pretzel and cheese). My husbands hamburger and fries were very good, and my Asian salad was great! Definitely will return again, especially to this location. Service was a tad slow, but very friendly.

Got the two for $32 deal, bourbon chicken and shrimp, artichoke dip and riblets. The dip/chips and riblets were fine. The bourbon street meal tasted like it was cooked with lemon pledge and not whatever it was supposed to be. Sever never refilled waters, but was polite.

Visited Applebee’s today and they treated me like family. The beer was ice cold, the quesadillas came out fast and were some of the best I’ve had. Definitely gonna be a regular here.

I haven’t been in Applebees in years, and I was reminded of why tonight. If you are looking for a common experience, with common food, and a quick turn around time, this is the place for you. Not bad, but certainly not exceptional. Our server Anthony was great, the food was good, and we didn’t have to wait for anything longer than expected. Just a simple little time

It was a super busy night, obviously it’s a Friday night. My waitress, Jessica, was amazing, I watched her with the other patrons as well. All the staff actually. They all had a smile when talking to each other and customers. Despite the crowd, my drink was never empty and my food came out quick and hot. It was the perfect spot after my day of self care, thank you Jessica and Applebees staff for being my cherry on top!!!!

We love stopping in an Applebee’s when we see one! Drinks were on point. You get exactly what you expect and it’s done right. Only reason I’m rating it a 4 star is the size of the meals is much smaller now. We had combos of the 2 for 20s and over the years they have less and less food. Other than that the staff was awesome.

I was traveling and was really excited for my curbside pickup STRAWBERRY chicken salad. It sounded so good with a balsamic glaze and all! Well no curbside, I waited about 15-20 minutes past my time, had to go in the restaurant and get it. I normally wouldn't care but I was traveling and in comfy clothes not suited for a restaurant. All I ordered was a French onion soup and a salad. The cheese was already hardened and soup soaked into the crouton, there wasn't any actual soup. Just a foamy bread and cold cheese. The strawberry salad only had lettuce, chicken and cheese. No strawberries no tomatoes, no balsamic ....... very very disappointing. Thee staff was friendly Also the salad was still good I just wish it had all of the ingredients because that's what I was really craving. It's hard to find good quality food on the road that's easy to pick up, especially post covid. Thank you for taking the time to hear my honest feedback

Ordered plain cheese burgers , waitresses brought them with lettuce tomatoes onions etc. Asked to fix it (he looked at his notes “plain”) said I’ll be back in 2 secs went back and brought same cheese burgers . Obviously had some tomatoe and lettuce residue and taste kids didn’t eat them of courses
