Applebee's Grill + Bar - Restaurant in Lakewood - 5250 S Wadsworth Blvd, USA

I haven't been to an Applebee's in years, but happy with our visit today! We came here specifically for Veteran's Day because they're one of the few restaurants that actually offers a free entre for all Veteran's without any extra conditions like having to buy another entre or whatever. And they offer the Veteran's menu the entire day, not just between specific times. He ordered the sirloin steak meal from the Veteran's menu and I just ordered a Tomato Basil soup and side salad. Usually I take pictures of the food we get, but we were so hungry, the only pictures I took were from the menu and for the Cinnabon Swirls, which I highly recommend! Overall, very satisfied with our visit, service and food was great, we'll definitely be coming back!

Harrison was amazing! Best server we've had anywhere. Really good with time management without being a helicopter. Way kind, super clean, and over all an exceptional employee!

I don't hand out bad reviews often because I give people the benefit of the doubt. But we went for an early quick dinner, and what should have taken a half hour ended up twice that because of an extremely unnecessary wait on service despite it being less than busy. After the 20+ minute wait to even place our order, the food also came slow, though it met expectations. Once we checked out, we discovered that they had also accidentally added another tables food to our ticket, which doubled the cost. Thankfully, we noticed that at that time, a manager came over because we looked frustrated and legitimately about to leave. Thankfully, the manager was able to sort out the bill, but it didn't really account for the service we had already received.

Gone downhill, bad service, okay food. The atmosphere was terrible. They sat a guy who was yelling in the restaurant because he didn't want to walk to his table. Freaked my 10 year old daughter out. I asked for extra lemons with my tea, I guess lemons have gone way up in price. see pic.

We haven't been to an Applebee's in a very long time; intrigued by the $14.99 all you can eat promotion, we decided to visit one before our movie night. The shrimp and boneless chicken wings were good. The riblets were tough to chew and not tender at all. The all you can eat feature is a bit misleading. The menu says endless fries, we didn't get any fries with our second order. Our beverages (alcohol) were good. Our server Jason was attentive and kind. This particular Applebee's seemed LGBTQ+ friendly. We also noticed quite a few senior citizens eating here which was great to see them out - post pandemic. There is plenty of parking and disabled parking. This place is kid friendly.

Was ok I guess server was a sweet heart the negative was had waited 20min for our drinks and had a hair stuck to my plate but after a long week of working my but off was like screw it n ate it n wiped hair off.

Alright alright alright this is the best Applebee's I've been too which is unfortunate because I only recently moved to this area. Outside highlights: lots of parking. Easy to find. Right of Wadsworth so a central location. In the same parking lot as ulta, micheals, home goods, American furniture, and Lowes. So once you have shopped too much you can head in for reasonable priced drinks and food. ADA approved with easy access out side and ramps inside leading to the bathroom and upper eating areas. ALSO! BIG PLUS especially in this area the staff are super blind friendly. I came I'm with 5 blind people who had just started at the blind school near by and the waitress brought over braille and regular menus and was very patient with all questions my party had. Flash back to my childhood the oreo shake is as good as it has always been hallelujah. The wonton tacos are my absolute favorite. They are so simple but so mouth watering. Just cubes of chicken, coleslaw, and two sauces I think? But holy moley. I think pepper is spicy so these do have s little bit of spice but with the flavor profile it's totally worth it. Alcohol wise they have lots of seasonal drinks I enjoy trying due to reasonable prices and I've never had a bad one. Look for the 2 for 25$ deal. Can upgrade it a little and it's 2 for 30$. It's literally crazy because it's an appetizer ( get the spinach artichoke dip ) and 2 full sized entrees. I like to share a meal but my average dinner partner needs a full one so this is perfect because I get to try different things and have left over and they get full.

It took far too long to even be asked what drinks we wanted were, so we were ready to order when the waiter finally showed. The service was very slow, but it wasn't even very busy (just a Tuesday Night). My friends Salmon was over cooked but said it tasted okay. My shrimp was pretty decent, however, they got the order wrong and I had to wait a while. The error was just a misplaced side, but it took a while for it to get to me, and by then, the food was only slightly above room temperature. The waiter apologized for the problem and said he'd be sure to give me a discount for the inconvenience on the order, but that discount never occured. Definitely won't be going back to that location.
