Applebee's Grill + Bar - Restaurant in Tukwila - 17790 Southcenter Pkwy, USA

We went during HH and we can tell that they were short handed. Our server did not miss a beat and was on point. She is the reason I'm giving this place 5 stars. The food was cooked perfectly and fast.

The service at this location is superb. You’re immediately greeted upon arrival. The staff is very attentive and quick for as busy as it is. Another surprise was that the food came out hot and quickly especially the fries which is how you can tell how the kitchen operates. Overall very happy and will come back at the next opportunity

I like Applebees, but the service quality is lacking at this location tonight. I'm not sure if it's better during the day vs night. I understand that everyone is working hard, including the manager. Shaileen was our server, and she said she was new. So, I tried to be patient and kind to her. I ordered an iced tea, and my wife ordered a margarita. We also ordered a chicken wonton taco and bone-in chicken wings. She wrote everything on paper, and after that, she went to another table and took their orders. By this time, she has written a lot on her mini notepad. After a while, she brought my iced tea and asked my wife what kind of drink she ordered. She apologized, and we told her that it was okay. Shaileen jotted it down, and after a while, my wife got her drink. No plates, no silverware. Bone in chicken wings came with a couple of wing portions, and the rest were drumsticks. The mushroom burger was supposed to arrive with green beans, but we got all the French fries. No one comes by to check on us or refill the water or tea. I observed a handful of customers come in and take off after waiting too long. At the end of our dining, the server wrote down three gift cards, but the manager only input one. When he brought the receipt for me to sign, I asked him about the other two gift cards our server jotted down. The manager said he only saw one. So, I said no worries, I'll use it next time.

We had a server by the name of Yolanda, she probably was having a bad day. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She refused to bring us the menu, water and even our food. I had to stand up from my table to get water from the bar, asked a different server for a menu and had the food delivered by the bartender. The bartender was very nice and on point. I could hear Yolanda complaining about her job to other employees at the bar during our dinning experience. I assume the manager figured out the situation since they switched our servers mid meal. Things went pretty good after that. I like Applebee's; it's convenient and you usually know what to expect. I probably won't be coming back to this location in order to avoid such an experience again. I never had such a negative experience at an Applebee's before. I hope they rectify the situation and whatever problems Yolanda is having on her personal life improve soon.

I had a very pleasant experience at the southcenter Applebee's. The Staff is professional and courteous. The food is prepared correctly and delicious.

The 2 for 25 deal is where its at! The steak was bomb and the chicken with shrimp was delicious! The house salad with the lemon vinegarette was big! Definitely get bang for you buck and a great value here

Kyle Tief is the most attentive server, he is very friendly professional and very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. He is the reason I will be coming back every night! He deserves a raise.

Was pretty disgusted with the food and performance the last time I went here but Ryan the manager was amazing and totally made up for it when he invited us to come back and make up for it. The food was better than perfect. The steaks were on point, the food came out on time together the waitress and Ryan's sister who was having her first day on the job was very pleasant and hospitable. I couldn't have had a better meal and experience. Even the kids were content. Oh, and the feticini sauce was delicious too! Like all the way around I am impressed. Definitely will be coming back. Good job to the understanding and generous manager, good server, phenomenal cook and flexible with the kids accomodations... as of course they all 3 wanted a tablet.. so that was really nice to relax and have a good dinner. Again, Thank you thank you thank you.
