Applebee's Grill + Bar - Restaurant in Orange City - 2599 Enterprise Rd, USA

Never had an issue here until today. Waitress was super slow. We were seated and waited about 15 minutes before she showed up. By that time we knew what we wanted so we ordered everything was about another 15 minutes before appetizers came out and then 10 minutes after that for the food. One of the orders was all you could eat and really should have ordered a regular meal because I could not get the food I wanted in the time that I had to eat today. There were tables around us that showed up after we did that got their drinks and food before us. As far as the ambience the music was a little loud and was club music in the middle of the day at lunch time. The restaurant in general was clean and our seating area was clean when we got to it. The glass front doors were filthy to the point that you didn't want to touch the doors to go in or out if you're worried about your hands staying clean. Like I said never had an issue here before but today was just a disappointment

We had the best server named Yaqui, he is so personable, friendly, accommodating and a good sense of humor. Within the restaurant, we saw a team and really impressed how they all worked together. The bartender was on top of it and Charles ( the new manager) did NOT leave his crew hanging out to dry! He was there to run food, answer questions from patrons and be a strong support for his team! Impressed and will be back! Great job everyone!

Great pricing. Speedy & upbeat server. The server and kitchen staff replaced the limp, overcooked green beans with steaming hot broccoli. It was still a bit overcooked but tasty. Double crispy shrimp were cooked perfectly. BOGO adult beverages were refilled quickly. The Ladies bathroom sink had no stopper and I almost lost my lipstick when I dropped it! My purse fell into the trash can because there was no where to set it down except the edge of the sink!

Very festive and happy environment! Our waitress Kelsea Fry was the best! She was on the ball bringing drinks before we were out and she was so friendly and outgoing! Highly recommend her! She has the best personality!

Our Server Yaqui was amazing. He has Great Customer Service skills. He was very attentive, curious and friendly. They were really busy and the service was quick. Our food was nice and hot. The entire was worked hard and you can tell they all enjoyed what they did. It takes a TEAM and you guys got a wonderful Team. Great Job

Bryan was wonderful! Amazing service. Everyone is so kind and no one was talking crazy talk like the last Applebees I went to.

We had a family dinner here at apple bees and we had a great time. The food was as expected for apple bees, but the temperature was on point, meaning it was brought out quickly. Our waiter, Logan was phenomenal. He was nice, quick, answered all our questions, got all of our orders & details correct, and was attentive to check on us, but not too often that can be viewed as bothersome - we all agreed that his service was the best we’ve had in a very long time. We would go back just to have him wait for us!

We visited on 1/6/24. The restaurant was clean. We called ahead. The kind hostess had our table ready upon arrival. She was already seating another party and seated us next. We were ready to order. Our server was the only part of our meal we didn’t enjoy. We aren’t sure if he was new or just didn’t care. We ordered a 2/$32. He never asked what sides we wanted. Luckily we both wanted mashed potatoes. My husband asked for no mushrooms or onions and still received them on his chicken. Of course moving them isn’t a big deal for us we aren’t allergic. My husband even had to remind the server our special included an appetizer. We were never checked on. We had 4 children eating with us (so we were there for at least an hr) no drink refill. My son asked for ranch and never got it. He decided to use ketchup instead as he got tired of waiting. Now that I think back on last night, that was a pretty mature response for my son. I didn’t even know about it until my husband told me at the end of the meal. We waited 20 mins to receive the check and box for my youngest sons food. We got so tired of just waiting and waiting we paid cash and left. At that point the server ran to the table (understandable, everyone hears horror stories of dining dashers) which was odd. He wasn’t worried about getting paid the entire time we were there. Only when we left. Kudos to everyone else especially whoever the chef was on this night. The food was delicious! The chicken was perfect! Glistened, seasoned well and just fell apart. Kids had tenders, pizza and Alfredo. The Alfredo was so good the preteen deemed it snap worthy. Overall, if you are having a good time and great food —you may want to ask for a different server if yours wasn’t so great like ours. Hopefully Applebees can figure out where the disconnect is and either train servers properly or boot those who do no care about their brand.
