Applebee's Grill + Bar - Restaurant in Fort Smith - 6818 Rogers Ave, USA

We arrived....the host did not open the door for us....when did that stop? No one in the restaurant....he said to us...."just two"?.....not a good start. I told him we have no friends. He had absolutely no personality. Nothing was said as he tried to seat us at a table. We asked for a booth. We all turned around....still...he said nothing. It would have been nice if he could have opened the menus....pointed out ALL of them. We knew nothing of specials until after we placed our order. We ate a full hour later. I had a salad....my husband had a bourbon burger. His waffle fries were burned. Our server was uneducated on the menu. She looked over my shoulder at it. She never made a suggestion. I hadn't been to Applebee's in three years....it will be at least that long next time. It seems strange to me when reviews are saying the same thing. Why would it matter what day or time folks want to eat at Applebee's? If you're open....take good care of folks....train your help....clean the doors....fingerprints all over them....sticky tables....I also suggest separate dessert menus....the server took our menus after we ordered....then asked if we wanted dessert an hour and a half later. Power of suggestion works well....let us SEE what you have.....she didn't tell us what was available....we would have at least shared something....(dinner was completely unimpressive)....this Applebee's is NOT up to traditional standards. Please try harder. Unacceptable!

Most of the food was wonderful. However, I would NOT recommend the endless chicken wings. The sauces on them are not top ten and the chicken itself doesn’t even taste like chicken. The French onion soup is wonderful. I would say most of the menu items are very good. Their drinks are very good too. If you can, ask for server Sarah. She is the best waitress I’ve had in a very long time. It always makes dinner so much better to have a personable, good waitress.

Very unorganized from the time you walk in. Waitress was the only one worth acknowledging. Food was HORRIBLE!!!! All of it. Chicken tenders so hard you couldn’t eat them. This is the first place I have ever been where the ribs are flat. No meat at all. Salads were just lettuce. Didn’t get everything I ordered.

I ordered take out. I was impressed at the portion size of what I ordered. It tasted like who ever was cooking really cared about the taste and quality of the food. That's something that is pretty rare anymore. Kudo's to the Chef.

The salad was well proportion and made with perfection. We order the 2 for $25. Steak was perfectly cooked, mashed potatoes and broccoli very delicious. We will visit again.

Been here a couple of times recently. Service was great and staff friendly. Food was good. I gave 4 stars because the place is looking run down and uncared for. Seemed clean except the floors but what can you say when kids are eating in a place?

Brennan our waiter was very respectful and helpful, he was very attentt (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) and I really appreciate your professionalism along with the mgnr. being very nice, helpful &social💯❣️❣️❣️ I've been eating the wonton tacos for YEARS&they "still" taste amazingly the same, just delicious 👍🏾🤤 tried the boneless parmesan chicken bites for the 1st time&was surprisingly satisfied by all the flavor, sooooo good👌🏾💯❣️❣️❣️

Seemed all the furniture needed repair. The bench seats definitely need to be boosted up and covered. Thought I was sitting in a poor frat house couch. Sank way down. Had to pull out my phone flashlight to read the menu.
