Applebee's Grill + Bar - Restaurant in Aurora - 14091 E Iliff Ave, USA

Had Ashley as my server. She was amazing. Above and beyond in service, personable, friendly and has a sense of humor. I came twice before during the week... first time was terrible (food), second time was good. Bryce was my server on the second visit. They certainly redeemed the first visit tonight.

I'm giving the food here the benefit of the doubt because I have eaten in here in the past. Right now I'm waiting for a to go order I placed 45 minutes ago. They said it would be about 20 minutes. They wouldn't let me set at the bar and wait unless I was going to order. I can see 10 empty seats at the bar. The hostess just snapped at a customer for complaining about the wait. Sorry but tonight.. No! Finally got our food only to find out it was setting on a shelf all the time. Got home and it was stone cold. Talked threw it out and called the mgr. Will update this review tomorrow if she keeps her word

I had the spicy sweet chicken sandwich and it was excellent. Great combination of flavors. We've been here a few times and it's usually pretty good. The servers are nice and friendly and Kyle the host is super cool. Strong and good drinks!

Food was great but for some reason our server seemed mad

This was an okay time! There honestly isn't much I can say about this place; it was pretty busy since we went around lunchtime, though we were seated as soon as we walked in. The environment was pretty cozy, pretty bar, lovely Applebee's decor, the staff was very nice and light-hearted. Our waiter was always checking in with us to make sure we were doing okay, which I appreciated. The food was pretty good; we had gotten this cheese dip and it was really good, but the ratio of chip to dip was off -- we had like still half our dip left (In retrospect, I should have had them ask to take that dip to-go)! I had ordered their chicken penne, and although it was pretty okay, I was not a fan of the seasoning, and it could have used more salt. Also wasn't a fan of the waiting times between getting my appetizer or my appetizer. Overall, this is the kinda place I'd visit a couple of times a year to try something different, and that's all.

The manager tonight is very rude and needs to be fired for laziness and his rude attitude. Don’t place things on the table for me to order and then tell me it doesn’t belong to the table!! No customer service here at all just attitude for a bad manager is why the bar was trashed and people not getting any type of service!! I will never return to this restaurant with a manager that argues with the customer when he made the mistake!! Zero zero zero customer service at this place. I told the manager that I will be calling corporate on him and his reply was “go ahead and call whoever you want” this was our second night there in a row! Last night we got sat at a dirty table and had to ask for it to be cleaned off!! Just unreal and I will let others know not to ever eat here!!

We Host the visiting Speaker at our Congregation as a way of showing our appreciation and defraying some of their costs. Applebee's is a great place to go. It's not really expensive and the food is always great. Our server was gracious and attentive. We'll definitely be back. Thanks Applebee's!

we came to Applebee’s for my daughter‘s birthday, and the place was not busy which was great got seated right away. Our server came over, we ordered a couple of drinks. order 2 6-ounce steaks with mashed potatoes and broccoli. after a few minutes, he brought me my beer, but my daughter’s drink never made it so a few minutes later we flagged him down, letting him know my daughter never got her drink. another eight minutes later the food finally came out and he brought the drink with it. he wasn't very personable person and didn’t try to upsell or offer any appetizers or desserts. Will we try it again? I like Applebee’s maybe it was an off day.
