Apple Tree Inn Spokane - Motel in Spokane - 9508 N Division St #1201, USA

When we got there the room we had reserved wasn't available so we got a different room and they gave us 2 cots to use for free, as well as a lower price. It worked out great. Room was decent and I would stay there again. From the front desk to the staff, all were good. It's a older motel but it was clean and we got a smoking room because we all smoke. Kept door open for the most part so smoke didn't get to bad. And sometimes we smoked outside as well. But I would stay there again if I needed to.

DO NOT Stay here! It has gone seriously downhill. After getting our key, we decided it wasn't safe (based on the clientele and the cars already parked) and a peek into the uncleaned room showing that it wasn't clean or habitable. they said it would be done in 10 minutes. There is NO WAY that suite was going to get cleaned in 10 minutes. As a group of women and children, we just couldn't stomach it. SCARY!! We had to stay elsewhere for a lot more money, and they can't be reached to discuss a refund the very nice desk person told us would happen by the manager the next day. Multiple calls to the office. They don't answer. We are still waiting to hear from the manager. One email has been shut down and the BBB indicates they are NOT an accredited location. It's too bad because there are very few options for N. Spokane. I wish I would have snapped a few pics.||5/21/24 Upate: I disputed this charge with my bank and the hotel is holding to a cancellation policy even though the room wasn’t ready upon arrival as contracted. As noted above, it was filthy. We called to tell them we needed to cancel. They refunded the $100 deposit (So they acknowledge that we cancelled) but won't refund the room charges.||They indicated in their response on Trip Advisor as follows: “We shall take all measures required to rectify the conditions to have you back as a contented guest. We would be grateful if you allow us to make amends and improve your experience during your next stay.” ||However, their website is not functional, and they have NOT made an attempt to contact me or my sister to resolve making their words ingenuine. We are holding to this review. Clearly, they have no real desire to maintain customer service. I hope this hotel gets a new owner and a much-needed update as there are few options in N. Spokane for respectable people.

The room we got was exactly what we paid for. Only stayed a night for surgery purposes but, the gentleman that helped us was amazing! My wife had a big procedure done and we showed up early, the gentleman called on the radio to speed up the process. Still had an hour to waste to check in, came back and everything was ready. So thank you Mr. "M" for your eagerness to help. I appreciate you. Im not gonna knock anything, our experience was amazing and we'd stay here again. It serves our purpose and no reason to be picky. Can't wait for breakfast... thanks again everybody at Apple Tree Inn.

It is fine for a place to sleep. I would not take my family here. Older but price was good. Better than sleeping in a car. They did not give me my full deposit. Charged me $8 for a towel. Don’t trust this place. They will keep part of your deposit and what can you do about it? Don’t stay here. Pay $20 more to stay somewhere else that has a good breakfast and will give your full deposit back.

The rooms are usually in pretty honestly bad shape I mean the room that I got I didn't necessarily pay for online I asked for different amenities and received a completely different room with different amenities that was not up to par. So my remote did not actually work the television which was very frustrating and the blow dryer that they had did not work and for whatever reason the fan in the bathroom was barely working so after taking a shower and opening the door into the main part of the room it literally had nothing but play ridiculous amount of steam that entered the other room which made it heat up quite a bit and with it already being 100° outside the AC that was in the wall was barely working and seeing as though it was over 2 ft above my head I couldn't really adjust it. Which was very frustrating to say the least. Not to include I didn't even get a brand new roll of toilet paper that was on the roll it was already 3/4 of the Way gone. other than that they were very gracious and very helpful and they were willing to check me in at a very late time and even allowed me to pay a pet deposit for two dogs that I was technically pet setting for and was unable to return to their owners on time due to an accident that they have so the accommodation was very reasonable and it was very helpful. The mini fridge and microwave works flawlessly and I was very pleased with those oh and by the way the hot water is extremely hot and will burn the hell out of you so be very careful.

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of good things to say about this place.Except we had drove five hundred and fifty miles , The place had no smoking. Why did it smell like cigarette smoke and other types of smoke? It said it had a dog requirement that was big dogs in pitchers pit Bulls, this is not a place for. Family, this is not a place for kids. This is a trap house. This is a place for homeless people that can't afford a place to stay. If you're just coming to close your eyes when you wake up, you are ready to go no need to stay any longer. Unfortunately, the place smelt like cats and dogs. We were there for an event, so we were not in the room for the 2 days stay. The place is about 40 years old so it has not been I created. The pictures you see are the pictures from in the beginning. If they were to take pictures, the curtains are not hanging correctly. The carpets are dirty. It smells, I just want to say we needed to lay our head down? I brought our own bed and had to put it on top just to sleep. I would not get in the swimming pool. Not sure how many dogs have been in it through the night or who has cleaned it lately? Be aware of your surroundings.This is not a friendly environment

Positive: Convenient Negative: I was charged $40 out of the $100 deposit for having my period in my sleep. A bit of blood was on the sheets. With the star rating and location of this motel, those sheets did not cost $40. And could of easily been cleaned.

Everyone was super nice. Kind of a sketchy area but there wasn't any issues. We got a 2 queen and 2 single beds for 6 people. Comfortablish beds and I mean for $150~ it's not bad at all. Everything was cleaned and looked to be remodeled within the last 2ish years. I'd recommend to people who are with friends and hanging out or bringing a girl for cheap.
