Nice basic room----Fair price and good value----Quiet room----All amenities worked well. Plenty of room-----Well situated near breakfast, lunch, and dinner facilities. Mountain Creek nearby. Friendly, helpful manager. Served my needs very well. Highly recommended ------ will utilize this motel anytime I am in this area and need a comfortable place to stay.

Very rude. Supposed to be in the hospitality business, however told me I could bring cash and required a credit card. When I offered a credit card he told me my reservation was no longer available. He had no vacancies. Said cash or card then claimed no available rooms. He never picked up a phone or looked at a computer. Better off going to the Sussex Motel, decent people and cleaner rooms from the reviews.

I am absolutely exhausted so I am sleeping in this bed regardless of the fact that there are long hairs on the sheets and I’m bald. Television was not working and owner had to come reprogram it and he was none too happy about it. My own fault, I need to start planning ahead. Could have stayed in a decent hotel for the same money.

Bedsheets were not changed between guest stays. Found lot of hairs on pillows, top and bottom sheets. Towels and sheets were a bit grayish like they were not washed with bleach or decent detergents.

Very basic but generally clean, the shower floor needs attention and I am not sure the sheets were fresh

What a cute little hotel! We had just come off the Appalachian Trail and wanted to stay in area for another evening. The location and price was perfect! Room was very comfortable with all the amenities you need for an evening. The view is beautiful. A couple of chairs outside to sit would have added to the experience. Quiet. Bed comfortable. Clean and crisp for the age of the property.

Love this place. You get what you pay for! Listen, I've stayed at this establishment several times over the last seven or so years when I needed to be in the Vernon / Mountain Creek Bike Park area. Have been at other places nearby too. YES IT'S MORE EXPENSIVE. But, it's really worth the extra cash - every stay I've had has been great. The rooms are newly furnished, the bed is super comfortable, the amenities are what you'd expect. The views are really nice, especially in the morning! It's quiet. Check in was easy. I always stay here if I can! Recommended!

Do not stay Here!! This hotel was purchased by a new owner and it’s truly awful. There was dust and filth on the walls, the shower floor was stained brown. The comforter had a blood stain on it. The pillow case had mascara stains on it and the so called pillows on the bed (one for each person) were completely flat. When I bravely took off the pillowcase. I found that the pillow was covered in brown stains. There were no available rooms within a 20 miles radius the night that we stayed here and I literally slept in my car in the parking lot rather than lay down on the bed. It is the most disgusting place I ever have stayed. Sadly, it was a sweet little “mom and pop” hotel under the previous owners but now it looks like a rundown crack house. There was no option to give this place a “zero” (the least you can give a hotel is one circle/terrible) or I would have.
