First time visiting this business. I wish I had went sooner. I took a stain glass class there and it was well worth the price of the class. So many beautiful local items in the shop and the gentlemen working there was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Very nice store and very helpful folks here! Tons of great local crafts!
Great museum to look at life in the 1800's. Enjoyed walking through each museum and talking with the blacksmith.
This is one of the local crafts places for different artists and crafts people to display and sell their work. Products included pottery, paintings, various sewing and knitting items, wood items, and many others. My wife and I like to stop at these shops to not just see the work but also because we collect pottery. There were a great variety of the various items. We enjoyed looking although we didn't find any piece we were interested in. We thought the prices were higher than typical for the products even though we know this last year may have been difficult for them and may explain those prices. This place also offers classes for adults and kids. It is easily accessible. A good experience.
What a wonderful little shop. There are many artisans that contribute so there is a large variety of items. Absolutely beautiful work. They also have classes to teach some of the art techniques, which I would definitely do if I lived nearby. I also felt like the prices are very reasonable for the amount of work that goes into them. The staff were very friendly and helpful also. I will definitely go again when I go visit my sister.
Every time I visit it's always a lovely experience! The volunteers are very nice and helpful, and there's something for everyone to look at! All items are handmade and reasonable pricing! Definitely worth visiting if you haven't yet 😊
The Appalachian Arts & Crafts Center is a unique place. Upstairs patrons may see, admire a variety of items produced by vetted local artisans, including woodworking items, photography, quilts and many more things. Downstairs they offer classes in quilting, weaving, sewing pottery making.i took 2 sewing classes there myself.if you appreciate fine handcrafted things come here. If you wantvto learn how to handcraft fine things you can come herevand learn how. Either way, if you are in the area you should visit .
This is a craft cooperative that features local artists. There's pottery, baskets, weaving, stained glass, paintings and photography. Too many items to list them all. The shop is staffed by the artists, so it's interesting to drop in and see who is working on any given day. You can find out about that person's artwork and meet some great people. Classes are offered as well. There's studio space downstairs where the potters and weavers work. A big bonus is a free craft kit library on the front porch. This is similar in concept to the Little Free Libraries, except there's craft kits that are donated by the artists of the co-op. Worth stopping by! The artists change their inventory often so there's always something new to see.😄

Returned home from 2 weeks in southern Florida with my 5th wheel to 8" of snow and ice. I only live about 4 miles from the Knoxville Campground and knew I couldn't tow my trailer up my long, icy driveway. I asked about leaving my unit at the campgr
