Apollo's Bistro - Restaurant in Apollo Beach - 6520 Richies Way, USA

A friend and I stopped in for lunch today after a lovely visit to the manatee viewing. It’s inside the racquet club facility, so dress was very casual. A woman seated us, then proceeded to tell us she was the waitress as well, I’m not sure if she’s always alone or understaffed, today. The restaurant should have a backup to help as needed, but I digress. We ordered two appetizers, loaded homemade chips which were tasty but the toppings were sparse or all on a few leaving numerous empty chips. We then had artichoke heart cakes which were interesting w/ spinach, cheese and bacon, also tasty. I wish there was a little texture as it was all one note, soft. I ordered the onion soup as my lunch entree as I absolutely love and friend had Caesar salad. They both were fine, my soup had a decent ratio of broth/cheese/bread but lacked the deep beefy broth, veal stock and sherry flavor profiles. Would I rush there, no.

Great little bistro close to the power plant. The food and service were terrific. Tucked away in a condo complex and tennis courts.

I am not really a Brstro type of guy l like the old dinner style 😋 However, this is the best one I have enjoyed so far. The food is very good. I recommend the fish & chips well. I got fries. Steph is excellent, very nice, and friendly on top of everything. Very good waitress probably needs a raise. 😀 On a scale of 1 to 10. 10!!! Great job, guys! Thank you Scott for such an amazing time! Me and my husband had our wedding ceremony (outside) and reception at the restaurant. Everything was last minute, and with only months of planning, Scott made it happen! The food was DELICIOUS!! Even the guests couldn't stop talking about it. Amazing atmosphere. The employees were so kind and willing to our needs. HIGHLY recommended to anyone who visits Apollo Beach. A true experience.

My family went here for the first time and will likely never return. I was looking forward to the fish and chips based on other reviews. It was extremely unpleasant tasting and the cornmeal coating was so chewy. When I mentioned it to the waiter, they said sorry but didn’t offer a replacement or any resolution. We also only saw our waiter one time after we received our food, leaving us without refills and no service. This service occurred with only one other table having customers. It was a terrible first and last impression.

Very nice afternoon with the ladies. Our waitress was excellent and we were very pleased with the menu and reasonable pricing. We had the grouper and crab cakes ..did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

We haven’t been to Apollo’s Bistro for a while. So glad we went Saturday night. Food was excellent. Service was great and prices are reasonable. There are more options on the menu than the last time we were there. This will definitely be one of our go to restaurants.

1st time here and love it. Kat, our waitress, was very personable and serviced with a friendly and bring her smile. Food was delish.
