Nice trails. Mostly peaceful. Just watch your steps - some dogs’ owners apparently don’t believe in picking up after their dogs.
Beautiful natural setting with a 2-mile paved trail around the entire lake, benches strategically located for those who want to rest or just admire the scenery. Short, unpaved forest trails have picnic tables overlooking the lake. The park offers awesome lake views, lots of birds (herons, ducks, cormorants, geese, woodpeckers, and more). There are softball fields, a batting cage, a fishing pier, covered picnic areas, a big, covered playground for kids, basketball courts, several tennis courts, free entry and free parking, plus restroom facilities. On a recent walk early in the morning a huge bald eagle swooped across the middle of the lake. At peak times (early evening and weekends) the small Lake Pine lot fills quickly, so best to use the Laura Duncan entrance. Kayaks allowed but no swimming. Overall, well maintained. A variety of pedestrians use the trail, including seniors, moms with baby carriages, adults walking dogs (leash required), families with young children, runners and joggers, and a small number of bike riders (NO e-bikes allowed). Attention dog walkers: Free plastic "poop" bags are available near the entry point from the lot to the trail. Sometimes bikers ride too fast and do not shout a warning as they approach. It is important for pedestrians to stay aware of bike traffic at all times. Monitor what is coming towards you and what may be approaching from the rear. Watch for blind curves in the trail. Keep to the right (including your dog). Try not to block the path when walking side-by-side.
Lovely park, the walk around the lake is almost 2 miles long with lots of side trails leading to neighborhoods, a Greenway and trails under the trees (and off the tar surface).
Very nice paved trail around the lake that's right around 2 miles. It's mostly shaded. Lots of great views of the lake.
Nice easy paved trails around pond. Playground and exercise area. Dog friendly. Has bathrooms and picnic pavilion.
Great park for small kids, older kids, teens and adults. Has a great trail around Lake Pine with several benches to stop and view, as well as a dock to fish or just sit at. 3 playgrounds and one is geared more towards agility/ninja for kids fitness. There are also 4 tennis courts, 3 volleyball courts, and 3 basketball courts and 2 or 3 baseball fields, and a soccer field. Basketball court 1 is reserved some days, but the other 2 are just open. There are 2 different restroom areas, one at the entrance and one at the top/back. There are also picnic areas near each restroom. Some of the trail has sidewalk.
Beautiful 2 miles trail. Liked the wildlife this park offers, we spotted few turtles, waterfowl, birds etc. Lovely views of Apex lake. It has paved and unpaved trails, a fishing pier, kids playground. There are two entries to access the trails of this park. It has many benches along the lake trail. Restrooms at the park entrances. Trails are mostly shaded through amazing trees.
This park has a lot to offer in downtown Cary. The best place to have lots of space for walkways and picnic areas under the trees. Come and enjoy the lake view along with the amazing birds and wildlife around.

Beautiful park with trails around the lake and through the woods. Picnic shelters, kids' playgrounds, and playing fields. Entrance gives impression of small park, but it's not.
This is a nice size park that is quiet. The area is nice and peaceful. My kids love every bit of it. There is one red slide that is blocked off, do parents be careful because the kids are still able to walk by it (curious eyes).
We always enjoy our visit to Salem Park. It has a newish playground and a large astroturf, which seems accessible to the general public all day. One can enjoy a half a mile walk around the 2 lakes to observe the abundant turtles in the pond or perhap

We are so honored to have tried Mr. A's on a road trip to Apex. It made my MS and NOLA-raised dad so happy to get some authentic beignets! We got the bites to eat on the road and they were warm, pillowy with a nice chew and truly mouthwatering. We're
Can't say enough good things about this place. I sampled a few gyms in the area (all good for sure!), but after my one-day trial, I was hooked. The convenience and the vibe are all I needed. The instructors (hello Maria and Macie!!!), front desk st

of COURSE I will rate this church as EXCELLENT! I play in the praise band!! :) The Peak UMC is a great mix of large church (lots of programming and amenities) but small church where people know you, and you feel welcome. It's contemporary worship a
