I grew up in Antelope Park living mere blocks from the main grounds.... I've always enjoyed the well groomed fields, the maintained playgrounds and the wonderful bike path that runs through. It's a beautiful place for a picnic, a stroll with a date or family and has a great band shell for late summer concerts. Antelope is definitely a fantastic Lincoln location!!!!

Place has pretty much everything you would want in a public park. Big playground area, multiple picnic areas, some covered some not, 2 event centers, bike trail hubs, seasonal restrooms, a memorial spot to walk around and read up on information, outdoor concert venue, and large fields. Plenty of parking as well. Definitely my favorite park. Plenty of ingress and pokestops as well if you're the game type.
Holmes lake is an amazing place to go. There's a trail that you can hike, walk or bike around the lake. A really nice playground for the kids with bathroom facilities near by. We have gone out there for picnics, cookouts, play dates at the park, fish
Very well laid out park. We went with our children and there was plenty to entertain them for hours. Paved trails and very clean. Great for running, walking, biking or skating. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in the area!
Mahoney is my peaceful place! It's where I go when I need to escape adulting for a while! I love to go just cruise through and take in all the beauty, music jamming, of course, and take pictures. It's my happy place. It's actually become my daughter-
It's a great small city park. Kids were playing, groups were gathered under a tree, I was able to loose leash walk my dog with enough separation from everyone. Great for a short walk of fresh air, enough trees to keep you fairly cool.
